Never tried but I'm on day 45 of the 100 day burpee challenge.

But since me and the wife have both been doing 100 burpees in broken down sets on our off days we had to add a bit more complexity.

You must do one set that exceeds the number of days into the challenge you are. Except on lifting workout days.

Only problem is on day 18 I hit 100. Not on workout days....

So is that better or not than ten gimmick push-ups?

um, deadlifts & jump rope are arguably the overall workouts. These are of course secondary if you do live near a swimming pool because that works out everything (and you will also learn to swim).
