Cloverfield took place in 2008 in one dimension. This new film I didn't see what the year is, but it seems to be further in the future. Wouldn't it stand to reason that the alien/monster/whatever could be much larger in this future dimension?

I will agree they made it ridiculously huge, but we don't know how high those clouds were either :P

So that earth and the earth from the first Cloverfield are two different earths you think? I assumed they were the same one and the second earth (the one where her kids are still alive) was the only other one wed seen. You think that all the movies have been on a different earth?

It can be any Earth in any timeline now because of the incident at the beginning.
Cloverfield is now basically connected to every single movie.

but it's also the same Earth because the scenes on Earth show you Clover's "first" attack.

That's the biggest problem with this movie. You can basically interpret it anyway you want.

Hated it.

Had nothing to do with the previous two Cloverfield movies.

It had more to do with the first movie than the second one did, even if it was incredibly obvious it was all forced in there.

And Im pretty sure the Cloverfield station that falls to earth is the satellite from the end of the first movie in the background

It was pretty obvious that all of the Earth scenes were basically shoehorned in to connect this shite to the first two movies. At least they can now do whatever the hell they want the franchise because of that one onscreen interview.

Great marketing but the movie was terrible.

I watched it a couple days ago and to be honest I found it kind of boring. Not fast paced enough, and was there even a single explosion?

Seriously though I found it kind of boring but intriguing enough to keep me interested.

It's not supposed to be fast paced or explosion heavy considering it's a detective story.

I thought it was just ok, relied too much on twists that didnt really make the story any more compelling

For example kylo kills snoke, but he remains in the first order so it doesnt do much to change his character or motivations. It also made the entire Snoke character pointless

Then later Luke does his fake out where you discover he isnt actually fighting Kylo so he doesnt get killed, but then immediately after he become one with the force or whatever so what difference did it really make?

Maybe 7/10, needed more Porg

Examples please, as far as I know Phantasy Star Portable 2 is the largest game. That game is around 16GB.

i had to stop watching, it kept switching how the fuck it was shot, so the black bars change thickness with every cut. it's fucking weird as shit and very off putting. one second it's normal letterbox borders, the next it's entirely full screen. i don't really understand why the hell they do this. dark of the moon did the same goddamn thing.

apparently there's even a note included with some movies saying the movie occasionally changes between letterbox and non-letterbox.

they didn't say it would happen several times in one scene.

That is basically why I absolutely hated it.
More movies do it (Interstellar for example) but The Last Knight went way over the line with that shit.
