Also, Darth Maul might have given the best acting performance in the movie. To be honest, I've always kinda liked the guy, and I'm a sucker for the lightsaber duel at the end, say what you will about the choreography.

after catching up on this thread, i'm just gonna come out and say, episodes 2 and 3 had the worst dialogue but i just mark out for any lightsaber fight

anakin dual-wielding was awesome and almost justified hayden christensen's badness otherwise

episode 7 is an awful fit into the star wars canon and it went overboard in terms of callback/being an attempt to set up stuff for the next movie. i'm not sure the franchise/sequel-setup stuff worked great, but it's super-fun in terms of writing and re-establishing faith that this can work.
