I went to one in Denver but I can't remember what it's called it had some arcade games, but it had a bunch of other stuff to do and wasn't strictly an arcade focused place

Assuming Sam's situation doesn't get better, they should probably roll with case as long as he's playing okay. Teddy hasn't played in 14 months and have no faith that he'll be better than case at this point. I'd like to be wrong though.

Speaking of which, I really hate the menus in this game. I swear I spend like 15% of my time at the Poke Center computer. It's really annoying how you have to deposit Pokemon just to even look at the ones you have stored. Or if you boot a TM that you can't use yet, so you deposit it, that you have to completely withdraw it and use it again to remind yourself what it does. The town map and bicycle suck too

Yeah that is annoying. It gets fixed in later games.

The most annoying part is trying to catch a pokemon but your box is full. So then you lose the shot at catching that pokemon, and have to go to a pokemon center and switch boxes. I'm pretty sure every kid who grew up playing these games has gotten all the way through the unknown dungeon and gotten to mewtwo only to have their box full

I remember when I first got the game, I would knock out the pokemon and was very confused to why it wouldn't show up on my team. I didn't know you had to throw a pokeball at it (it was at the point in the game before you get pokeballs though).

I was like 7 at the time tho, so that's my excuse

I'm probably biased because of the Vikings, and I'm not used to good quarterback play. I just looked it up and the vikes haven't had a QB throw 25 tds in a season since favre in 2009. What a sad team lol

I looked up Kirk Cousins' stats and I'll admit they're better than I expected. I know he had a good run in getting Washington to the playoffs that one year (last year?), but I don't know. My gut keeps telling me he's not good. I guess I'll have more time to analyze him when he's on the 49ers next year.

The NFL is in dire straits when mediocre QBs like Kirk Cousins are going to get mega contracts.

Kirk is a really good qb. They are so hard to find. He will sign with probably the skins, maybe a different team, but it will be the biggest contract in NFL history at the time. And it will be worth it. In a couple years, it won't be that huge of a contract at all. At least the nfls's salary cap system actually goes up and works (unlike the NHL. Way to go bettman)

here's my way too early vikings hot takes:

I'll start off by saying that when the vikings traded for bradford, I said to my friends that if the vikings go 1-15, but beat the packers at home at the first game at US Bank Stadium, then I'll be happy. And they did. Thank you Sam. I used to disregard Sam before he played for the vikings, but man, he's an incredibly good QB.Last year with our awful O-line, he was a damn ironman. He looked like Brett Favre age 40 getting up from this huge hits, and kept playing. Fully healthy, the dude is easily a top 15 QB, maybe even top 10. It's really unfortunate about his injuries this season. I have to think he's probably done for the year, based on zimmer's quotes and sam's performance last week. He didn't look himself at all. And who knows...maybe sam will be good to go soon and ball out.

Next point...Case Keenum. This guy can play football. holy shit. I'm used to Shaun Hill/Matt Cassel type backups, but Case is for real. He can win games. The Vikings need to re-sign him very soon for a couple year deal. If they don't, SF/NYJ/Cleveland will pay him a lot to be a bridge quarterback. Fun fact: the vikings have zero QBs under contract after this season.

Last point. Teddy Bridgewater. I love him. But I don't have much reason to believe in his return. I really really hope I'm wrong. But soon, Teddy could be approved to return to practice. Next step would be placing him on the active roster instead of back on IR. It just seems so improbable that he could not only recover from such a devastating injury, but also return to form and improve and play QB in the NFL at a high level
