Michael Cera's character isn't my favorite but he deserves an honorable mention for that FANTASTIC awkward persona he plays up onscreen.

I generally don't like humor that plays on awkwardness, but it works on this show because the subject matter he is most awkward about is extremely taboo (cousin humping)

His awkwardness also works perfectly in tandem with Michael Bluth's pressure on George Michael to be normal. It makes GM even more nervous and awkward lol. And he makes Michael more annoyed and funny

It's a real shame because the comic is great. Andrew Lincoln is the best actor on that show hands down, but the writing is just awful. I'm guilty of watching it, but when I take the fan goggles off, holy shit it is just bad.

Oh, and not that it bothers me, but it amazes me how cable television allows Negan to talk about his dick all the time but he can't drop an F bomb. Seriously? And didn't Merle get away with the N word in S1?

Yeahthe writing is pretty terrible, which is a shame because the directing is fantastic. I think that show has some of the best directors on tv. But man the characters / writing is so bad

Yeah, King is famous for writing his novels super quickly. He apparently went on a crazy bender for a weekend and came out with no recollection of anything, and had an entire 300 page draft of Cujo sitting next to his typewriter lol

And in the 80's he was really bad. I also blame the really messy IT on cocain. Sure, it was a good story and had some great characters, but the structure was awful and all over the place. Luckily in the IT remake, they broke down the novel and separated it into two easy flowing sections (1. kids; 2. adults)

I usually love his endings. They're usually very tragic and a lot of time the characters get screwed but sometimes that's life.

And it usually comes as a big payoff because he spent a lot of times getting you to care about the characters. The only one I was really annoyed at was the ending of Cujo, where The baby ends up dying inside the heated car at the very last minute for NO REASON. Even the mother survives fine, and walks out of the car victorious, and then checks her baby at the last second and he's dead....

Yes, which is why Garoppolo didn't go until now.

This is exceptionally dumb for the 49ers. Even if they find the best case scenario, and Garoppolo is a franchise guy, the rest of that team is a black hole, and Jimmy is 30 and gone before the 49ers can recover.

Jimmy is only 25 and will be great in San Fran. It's not like they would have done anything with that pick anyway. The Patriots will turn it around by the end of the week for a pass rusher or a cheap WR (now that Hogan is out).

Also, Jimmy is not Brian Hoyer or Matt Cassel. He's a whole different level
