This game is literally the perfect Metroid/Castlevania game. A simple, but very rewarding combat system that requires perfect timing and mastery of jump, dashing, and attacking. Incredibly immersive environments, rewarding upgrades, fun backtracking done right. Like holy shit, this random area in the beginning of the game that was a deadend, and then finally 5 hours later I got the upgrade to get past it and it's a whole new fucking area with its own boss and everything. Holy shit did that feel satisfying. God damn. There is seriously no flaw in this game. I've only been playing for 8 hours, and I can't stop playing. I usually can't stand singleplayer games nowadays either. I get bored after a 20-30 minutes and never touch them again, but this game. This is what I've wanted so bad after growing up playing Castlevania and Metroid. There's so much fucking variety in this game. So many unique environments, diverse bosses and enemies, and an ever expanding arsenal of traversal. --- |

I got them for mario kart 64, zelda oot collector's, zelda mm collector's, ogre battle 64, jet force gemini, etc. Shit ton of games. I can't believe some of these fucking boxes sell for $60+. Like what in the fuck. That doesn't even include the manual or cartridge. I'm also shocked that gamecube games cost $40+ used. --- |

Getting 160APM playing warcraft 3 for many years, playing a shit ton of shooters, typing at 140WPM, etc. It's non-stop. But it keeps on chucking along. There are absolutely 0 problems with it. But I had to buy a USB adapter to accept PS/2 input for my new computers. Should I upgrade for shits and giggles? --- |
