Dammit Bob don't leave the gun. Bob noooooooooooooooo! I just started to love and appreciate the character. :'( Mike's story of how he and Will met really got to me. Wondering if Kali cared about her, even a little. Seems like she was genuinely sad to see her go. Kali was interesting. Definitely hoping we see her again. And Steve was a motherfucking badass this episode. I don't remember but I think we didn't see El at all. We got some insight into Max's past, and I love her interactions with Lucas. Nancy and Jonathan go to that dude's place. El goes to her mom's house and we see their backstory. Dustin captures Dart, and joins up with Steve (!!). Lucas tells Max about season 1 and it looks like she finally comes around. Hopper is saved! But the lab dudes start burning the vine monster things and it also hurts Will! | Pokalicious 10/29/17 4:22:20 PM #34 | Perhaps waiting to post my episode thoughts wasn't such a good idea. Let's see what I remember. S2E4 El and Hopper get in a fight. This was a great scene. Him trying to lift the TV set and she using her powers to keep it on the ground, priceless. Nancy and Jonathan. I thought their plan was so stupid. But then they go ahead and pull a fast one on the scientist (and me), and record them talking about Barb's death. And then they leave and get into their car and reveal the twist. But that's also stupid because the car might be bugged. Dart evolves yet again, now into a Demogorgon puppy, and eats kitty Mews. RIP. Max gets (rightfully) mad at the group because they're always excluding her from their reunions. And her "brother" is a racist. El finds out about her mother and has a great, emotional scene about it. And apparently the Upside Down is spreading underground. Fantastic episode. --- ph33r teh masta~! Bob gives some not great advice to Will, and makes me cringe with the "Bobmobile". Nancy fucks up and warns Barb's mom over the phone (why the fuck didn't she just go in person?). Really liking Max, and Dart evolved. So, El finds Mike with Max and gets jealous. I smirked when she made her fall off her skateboard. Then felt sad for El. That ending, though. Really curious to see what happens to Will now. Wanted to stop for the night, but I guess one more won't hurt. --- ph33r teh masta~! Nancy telling Steve that he and their relationship were bullshit hit me. I want her to end up with Jonathan, but also with Steve. Aaaargh! I love the dynamic between Hopper and El. But of cooooourse he had to be late when he promised he would be early. Also can Hopper and Joyce just get it on already? Go away Bob (is he going to end up being a Russian spy or whatever?). Really liking Max after trick or treating with the gang. Wish El could've gone. Mike still trying to communicate with El after a year was heartbreakingly touching. Will going through those episodes and being treated differently sucks. Still want Nancy to end up with Jonathan, despite me liking Steve now. Bob came out of nowhere. He's harmless for now, but I'm not a fan. That new doctor guy replacing the one from the first season (Dr. Brenner?). I agree that Jonathan's speech to Will about being a freak was great. El being with Hopper is cool. I realize he probably told her to keep quiet, but geez at least let Mike know you're okay and to not say anything. --- ph33r teh masta~!
