I asked for the VIN because I'm willing to run the report myself (and it's not smart to take it at face value), but they're being really hesitant on giving out the VIN. I think it's a college student selling that doesn't understand how this shit works, but this is an obvious red flag, right? Or do some people consider that info personal? I've even offered to meet them and look at the car and run a report there.
