The grocery store Aldi's have locks on their carts which connect them together with chains. You unlock a cart by putting a quarter in the lock which shoves the chain out. Once you're done shopping, you just bring the cart back, put the chain back in, and it spits out your quarter.

It's just a quarter, but the thought that you're leaving money behind just because you cba to put your cart up makes more people put it up.

Not only just for a quarter. If you pay most stuff with card, you may not have change in the car. This quarter is your only key to shopping there, and if you lose it, you have to go get more change.
(Of course, it's always a good idea to have cash on you, for emergencies when cards aren't accepted).

That said, do you (or anyone else) find the celebrating of his death a little weird? I find this topic is a little hard to discuss because it's very hard to not emotionally react to awful he is.

But I've always been a little weirded out when groups of people celebrate the death of someone, even if that person is awful. Like all the people that gather for executions and cheer it on.

It is weird. When Osama Bin Laden died, it was pretty weird to see people literally dancing and cheering in the streets, as if a sports team had just won a championship. I can understand being happy or relieved, but it is pretty off putting to see people treating death so casually, even if it was a horrible person.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm talking about. I think being relieved about the death of a monstrous human is fair. But celebrating? It's off-putting, as you described.

I also feel the same about torture of horrible people. I got into a very hateful debate with a few CEmen several months ago because I didn't agree that putting violent felons into a burning bull (torture method) was a humane punishment for their crimes.

Some of the people in that debate even sent me hate-PMs.

If I recall correctly, many years ago zSNES fixed this by making it not load the SRAM part of the save state, and only changing it when you actually go to the inn/temple/whatever in-game and saved there.

I had 5 hours in a Game which I saved the normal way, but I accidentally went to open a save state at 1 hr from the snes classic menu. I completely lost that 5 hour save

Save states have always retained all memory, including what would go to the normal save file. But usually that normal save file is not touched except in the normal save menu (zSNES saved whenever the GUI was brought up, so this could cause problems if you loaded a save state.)

Does the "load a save state" option not give you a confirmation option before loading it?
