I know most people will scoff, but I genuinely want to visit North Korea. I was extremely upset by Donald Trump's decision to ban Americans from visiting the country. If I want to visit a locale, I should have the right to assume any risks associated. It should be a personal decision. The government should not be telling me how to plan my vacation. Once again, the republicans prove they arent really the party of small government.

I have done extensive research on the country, and while the state sanctioned tour groups really only expose you to Pyongyang's wealthy elite, I think it would be fascinating. The western media makes N. Korea look far more impoverished and dangerous than it actually is (it is in the US government's interest to do do). In reality, it is an extremely safe place to visit as long as you watch what you say, and there is virtually no crime (as a result of the military being the police force). All Americans detained in N. Korea did something that was against the rules. Further, hundreds of Americans visited every year, and only a handful have ever been detained.

there are a lot of points you can make.

first of all, people drive over the speed limit every day. and even if you don't even go over the limit, fast acceleration can be quite a thrill.

of course, you don't need a $100,000 car to drive fast. something that expensive, well, people buy it because they can afford it. you understand that rich people like to spend money, right? but super expensive cars ought to be fun at least. so in the end there are much more pointless displays of wealth, like jewelry, and art trading.

middle school was worse, the kids were way meaner. even though in middle school I got invited to some parties, I wasn't allowed to go. I was also not super self-aware back then so I cringe when thinking of some of the things I did of said in middle school.

my fuzz is a 73 ram's head muff clone. break-up sounds so much warmer and more natural than my regular NYC Muff. Has a built in mid boost/cut and the tone knob has a lot of range.

still not that great for a subdued or refined kind of fuzziness though. something like fu-manchu I'm guessing? my first thought for that would be something along the lines of a fuzz-face.

I get T-shirts from merch tables. everything else from wherever. my longest lasting pants have been from Levi's. Used to get sweatshirts from American Apparel but they shut down. Vintage/thrift stores can be good. The GAP, UNIQLO, Topshop, Marshalls, AE are okay. H&M, Zara, Old Navy, Walmart are garbage.

Even? Camrys were mid-size then, most people drive compacts (multiple levels lower).

well the most popular cars in the US and Canada nowadays seem to be crossover SUVs like the RAV4, Rogue, and CRV. Big trucks too. Even newer compacts have gotten quite bulky. My mom's Corolla Matrix is small but drives like a minivan. And the new camrys are pretty huge compared to the older ones.

I'm just glad Nicole Kidman won an award for her work on Big Little Lies. Best performance I've seen on TV, like, ever.

I agree though with the Alec Baldwin thing. Louie Anderson deserved that award. Even though I know he did win last year, he should have won again. Baldwin shouldn't have even been in that category.

Another one that pissed me off was Master of None winning for "Writing in a comedy". Because 1: it's not a comedy, and 2: it's not even well written, especially compared to Atlanta. Aziz Ansari is a hack.
