i did the exact same thing regarding Xander quests. i can't say for sure i'd never use him, but with him returning every week i'm in no hurry to add to my bloated barracks.

for arena i get to use the same team as last week (Corrin, Myrrh, Hector, BK) but with Hector instead of Hector. for the tier 19->20 climb at least. during my drop to tier 19 i might just use a mage/dancer team with Tharja.

finished off the active torments. the CM3 on the FFXI one was pretty tough. in the end what i did was replace Ramza with Rikku and just forgo affliction break. i dropped Y'shtola for Shantotto for the CM requirement, leaving Aphmau as the only healer, with wall as a RW instead of Cloud USB. meant that Squall couldn't just instant-kill the Seeker, so i decided to kill the dragon first with standard BSB use during the TGM time and let Ayame and Shantotto work on the Seeker. at first i was using different status resist accessories and curada, but after many failed attempts, i switched everyone to petrification resistance and just used ultra cure. even then i think i got lucky that it only took 3 more attempts after that.

FFVI CMs were pretty easy thanks to that Leo BSB and Relm SSB (thanks, lucky draws!). though honestly i probably didn't totally need them for the 300 CM. i just RW'd onion knight physical USB, used mom bomb magicite, and had Seph + Bartz use their OSBs 3 times each. 200 CM wasn't too bad either, Celes blazing quadstrikes doing over 7k and Kefka capping with meltdown after memento mori and the standard Rikku USB RW. even Leo did a fair amount with drawtaliate, over 4k per hit.

i wasn't the one trying to save Red the wrong way (i wouldn't normally be saving Red at all, but was just trying to end the round the way it was supposed to go). more of a surprise than a complaint. like sure you can't account for every possible way someone is going to say "Cid FF7." but "Cait Sith" and "Red XIII" are the two i would think of as super obvious to add, because those are their names and that's how people refer to them casually.
