Then you can wait another 13+ years to hit 39. I wish there were more rewards than just boards that people use to count their karma on. Maybe something like being un-moddable. By the time you get to be my age (which, theoretically, you would nearly be if you started at age 13 when you can sign up for the boards), making jokes about dead models just loses its appeal.

Before I go doing stuff, does my SNES Classic need to be plugged in/turned on? Do I need the games on my PC before I start? Is there a set of written instructions for Hakchi 2?

when I tried to add more games my save states I made today ate up all the extra room I had

So if you plan on having a lot of extra save states be wary of that

I'll probably only keep the ones for the games I'm playing then delete them when I'm done with the game.

How much free space is there? I'm only looking at a relative handful of games, some of which will require translations. If I don't overdo it then I can mess around with save states and everything.

Also, what's the Retroarch thing?

Finally, how extensive do they intend to make that spreadsheet? I want to play Brandish 2 (and maybe Expert), but I haven't seen anything yet.

The spreadsheet now shows a couple of the games I had my eye on. Just how fleshed out do they intend to make it? There are some I want that would need English patches.

Honestly, I'm an old man who doesn't know how to make any of this stuff work.

Is this like The Wizard for a new millennium? Like, there'll be a brand new game at the end that nobody has seen before?

I finally had occasion to take my SNES Classic out of the box by visiting my friend. He was amazed by its tiny size, but even with 21 games he asked if there were any more to unlock.

You know, this is reeeeeal tempting.

There aren't many cereals I wouldn't eat without milk. I'll just throw Kix out there as one example that I've eaten dry. I've also seen moms feeding their kids Cheerios, something I've done for myself.

I wouldn't suggest trying it with Rice Krispies, though. If you're eating cereal by the handful then those just stick to you and get all over the place.

EDIT: I made eating dry Kix sound like a bad idea. Shame on me. When I wasn't concerned with diabetus I'd buy the big box and just pig out on it.

We're talking cheap condos ($50,000 or thereabouts). Yes, I wind up paying Private Mortgage Insurance, but I need to move.

I don't make bunches of money, but I figure $5,000 would be enough to put a down payment on a condo or a small house or something. $200 a month would take just over 2 years, and I certainly don't want to wait that long. Like, how long should I shoot for?

Does anyone know whether there will be a midnight launch for the SNES Classic anywhere? I'm not against sitting in line all night if it comes to that, but I'd rather it not come to that.

I've heard that the Terranigma emulations had some trouble with transparencies, which made one of the levels nearly impossible. I've got a Terranigma cartridge that I've never been able to play because of some sort of restrictions that even adapters weren't enough to get past. I wonder if whatever's on this box would be able to run it without any problems?

I'm half tempted by Borderlands, played it a bit and didn't like it but I'm wondering if I didn't stick with it long enough (I met Tiny Tina, is that far enough to decide?). Akiba's Trip, maybe, except that I'm old and something like that seems a little weird. The mechanics look fun, though.

I got a lot of flack for the entire time I was in public education. I have flashbacks. I still think when people around me are laughing that they might be laughing at me (because a lot of times in school, they were). I'm pretty socially stunted over it.

And to top things off, some people from back then are STILL laughing about me. I saw it on Facebook when an old friend Friended me, someone who didn't know I'd just joined her list had posted something about me and was laughing about it.

I really do wonder if they're going to do an N64 Classic next. Sure, it's next in line, but there's such a huge volume of SNES titles they could milk for the next several years.

If it's any consolation, you were once successful in flirting and might still be able to pull it off. Also, living in a cardboard box leaves the possibility that some neighborhood toughs will try to smash up what little you've got.

Sorry, homeless guy from my childhood. I didn't do it, but the kids who said they did were always a lot stronger than I was.

I wish I had something to offer besides my sympathy. The only thing I can recommend at this point is making sure you say the things you need to say to her now, because regret is a terrible thing.

If it doesn't feature Reggie being garroted over the SNES Classic then I'm not interested.
