As much as I love Pokemon, I would get burnt out so fast doing this. Still, tag to see how far TC makes it, but don't force yourself. If you find yourself getting burnt out, better to call it quits than to force yourself and thus make you hate Pokemon forever. :P

And yeah, definitely use new Pokemon in each game (new as in, new to you. They can be from previous games, but if you never used them, it's still a new experience). Somewhere around Gen IV when i realized I had used a fucking Kadabra/Alakazam to carry my team four times. I've gotten into a habit now where I will only use Pokemon that I've never used before.

I think it's that good, but obviously that's just my opinion. Also $25 only gets you half the game. Question arcs are one half, Answer arcs are the other half.

It's also pretty freaking long, and it's pure visual novel. No gameplay at all. So think twice if you really want to delve into it if you don't have a lot of time on your hands.

Actually, if you are interested and since you aren't opposed to LPs, you could probably just watch an LP of it. Since it's nothing but reading, you wouldn't be missing out on any gameplay.

Funny you should ask that, tcaz, because my 'problem' is currently about to make me smash my head against a wall. It's 1 A.M. currently and my next door neighbors are playing headache-inducing thump thump thump music.

Basically, I can't read if something is distracting me. My neighbors have been playing loud ass music for weeks now. They've been told by the apartment management that they need to stop. They didn't. They've been evicted. They have until the end of the month to pack their shit and get out. But... until the end of the month comes, I think they're playing it loudly as a 'fuck you' to me.

I tried reading some chapters while listening to calmer music through earbuds to drown out my neighbor's shit, but... I found it was causing problems to my own immersion? Like, I'd start reading a chapter not knowing what to expect, and the slow jazz in my ears was totally NOT appropriate to whatever crazy shit was occurring in the book. Or I'd listen to something more active and exciting and the chapter would be like... Shallan flirting with Adolin.

Long story short, I plan to continue reading Oathbringer after my neighbors have gtfo'd, which should be after I come back from my vacation in January.

Though I'd totally be in support of some kind of 'companion music compilation' suggesting specific pieces of music for specific chapters.

LOL. I actually edited that line just before I posted it because I'd typed "Rosa is already angry" followed by "A: Rosa is already fluffy" and I thought it sounded silly so I was going to change the first line to "Rosa is angry." Looks like I took out the wrong word!

And with the homunculus thing, I thought it was pretty clear that it meant the mistress died during childbirth. They were just using weird alchemy/magic terms to describe it, but that's par for the course for Umineko. I just didn't know why Arria brought it up while the relatives were having their regular chat before leaving the airport lol. I guess since we'd just started playing for the day, she was going over her memories of Umineko and that popped into her head.

K: So Ill give you a little hint since its not too big of a spoiler. The number in the Chiesters names are significant. It wasnt just randomly picked.

Random ideas she came up with: adding them together (455) will lead to something. The fact that 4 is in both of them and that has the same sound as the Japanese word for death. Maybe it has something to do with the numbers that appeared last episode? Maybe its what page of the Encyclopedia Insanica their mental illness is discussed on!
