That's partly it, they want smaller government in the regulatory spheres (financial/ecological/etc. regulations) but bigger government in the military, intelligence, and social spheres.

I didn't see the movie but some of the old comics were pretty funny, especially when he was doing the 'odd couple' thing with Cable and Agent X was pretty good too.

Not as funny as She Hulk or Great Teacher Onizuka, but then again it's not fair to compare anything to those two comic characters.

Yeah about a half of a percent. That's why it isn't ever going to be an effective enough wedge issue to replace homosexuality because it doesn't affect enough people.

Remember when the media was trying to make it a new wedge issue with the bathroom thing but it didn't take because it just doesn't affect enough people. Every once and a while you'll still hear a news story or politician trying to make it into a thing but it's just not going to work longterm.

One of the reasons why race, immigration, abortion, and religion are being pushed harder on us now is because the last president had made it illegal to discriminate against homosexuals to provide cover for putting the TPP on the fast track. That removed one of the pillars of the god, guns, and gays wedge issue trifecta that are used to prevent solidarity. Trans is never going to be a very effective wedge issue, and guns doesn't work while the Repubs control everthing so they had to double down on the other ones.

Their numbers wouldn't be very big as trans affects about .05% of the human race, it's not like homosexuality or left handedness as each of those are about 10% of the human race.

Why not? Just tonight you have admitted to being depressed, not being with a woman in three years, and wanting a child to try and fill the emptiness you feel inside. Maybe going back to the regimented and structured living of military service would be a good thing for you.

Make sure that you are not in a stand your ground state and that you have plenty of money saved up for the bail and lawyers first. Also I don't know if you'd be able to post the pics since they would be illegally obtained and used as evidence against you in the trial for breaking and entering, criminal trespass, and whatever other charges get put on you for the actions you are thinking of.

If he is going to run in 2024 there's no point in him supporting policies or either party for another 5-6 years. With politics there's no way to know what will be going on that far in advance and what people will be reacting to then.

There's no way to know how things will be going in 2020 let alone 2024. Will Trump run for reelection or will it be Paul Ryan vs Michelle Obama? No way to know now.

Realistically you won't hear what he stands for and which party he will run with until after the 2022 midterm elections are over and people start positioning themselves for the 2024 run.

Punisher is a very cool power fantasy but in reality you would be dead or imprisoned very quickly.

He is a politician that was running for president last year and wants to do so again in 2020. This is a safe position for him to take to try and score points with potential voters. Talk is cheap and we'll see how he votes on the bill when it's actually up for voting.

Thanks for answering as I wasn't sure if you were a kid without bills and responsibilities hating on others from a lack of empathy due to having few life experiences.

Many people settle for the 'devil they know' and don't take many risks or chances with jobs (and many other things in life) for many reasons such as personality, inertia, culture, family expectations, fear of change, comfort with the routine, transportation (or lack of), and countless other reasons. Empathy comes from understanding where somebody is coming from and you don't have to approve or dissaprove of somebody's choices to understand them.

I'm sure that your child was one of the reasons for your post as you know how expensive children are. But that can also be a factor for some people to not change jobs because of the potential risks such as not getting steady hours or not having the flexibility needed to be with them, especially if they are a single parent and/or are sharing child watching duties with their friends and family.

Most of us are one or two missed paychecks away from hunger and homelessness, and having children increases that even more. I started working when I was 12 to be able to contribute and help my family.

We cannot walk the path of life for another, no matter how much we might want to sometimes. Try not to judge others too harshly as you never know what the are going through in their life unless they tell you.

What up TC you didn't mention how many years of work experience you have, how many jobs you have had before your current one, how many children you have, your level of education, and ratio of debt and expenses to income you live on.

That info can help us to understand you better while you are judging others on their jobs and lives so we can better understand the purpose of this topic.

They have said that there will be some more historical ones sometime, and I am waiting for them too. Personally I would have loved a remake of Empire with the engine build they used for Fall of the Shogun.

I'm a huge DB fan and I would take the money. The time chamber and the gravity device they trained with would kill us in real life. Our cells and organs are adapted to the one earth gravity we have known our whole lives and a prolonged exposure to 2x alone would wreck our capillaries and neurons long before our hearts gave out.

I also loved the idea of training in a gravity chamber to make my bones and muscles more dense but the reality is that increased gravity would kill us very quickly. Look up what happens to fighter pilots when they accelerate quickly and experience 3+ Gs and you'll see that stupid reality once again gets in the in the way of some of our most beautiful dreams.

Just like if something body was born and raised on the moon they would not be able to come to earth as they gravity here would kill them.
