I had a 7' Colombian red tailed boa and a 4' Ball python that I housed together (both males, slowly introduced to each other and they ended up sharing a hide). Just make sure you have a separate box or tank for feeding to reduce accidental strikes when going into their enclosure. Other than that it's just keeping fresh water in the bowl and cleaning out the enclosure periodically. Just make sure you have proper lighting (including head and UV) for the type of snake you get. A secure lid is a great investment as well, snakes are escape artists. --- How can one person post so much stupid s***?

And I don't mean that in a terrible way, I mean they are just so insanely different than what most of us are use to it's just impossible to integrate. Thailand for example, their culture has held them back from advancing as a people and things like "saving face", dowries and their "mai pen rai" (it doesn't matter) keeps them from progressing. Because of "saving face" Thai students aren't allowed to fail school. They can do nothing all year and still have to pass them. They won't stand up for themselves quite often in disputes because their worried about losing face in front of everyone. Many families still expect dowries for their daughters marriage, so much so that some couples will put themselves tens of thousands of dollars in debt just to pay the dowry (I got lucky with my wife and her family not wanting it nor expecting it, I would have refused either way). And don't even get me started on how they drive here and how they believe their religious amulets will keep them safe while driving which allows them to drive like idiots or while drunk. There is no accounting for responsibility here and because of that, my typical western upbringing makes it nearly impossible to integrate. I can't say "it doesn't matter" when some jack ass in a pickup nearly kills me because he's driving like the road is his own private play place. --- How can one person post so much stupid s***?
