The only thing is that the main Metal issues tend to carry-over from whatever the previous tie-in was so it might take a second to figure out what's going on. The Batman one-shots were pretty self-contained to start, but the last few had a lot more current universe stuff going on. The reveal at the end of Metal #1 flew right over my head so I had to do some research there. I thought Gotham Resistance was much better than Bats out of Hell, and the quality of the Batman one-shots have been generally good. Beat a game with a lead that's from a fictional species Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance I've played and enjoyed every game in this series except for 4, but never really delved into the huge grind that was the post-game. Coming into this one, my plan was to finally go through that grind and do all the extra stuff, until I realized that I just wasn't enjoying the game very much. Maybe it's because I played Fire Emblem for the first time since the last time I played a Disgaea game, but something about it was just was not fun. It sucks, because D2 is a great game and the original is one of my favourites. Obviously 4 would become 'Beat a game released between 2010-2017' and 5 would become 'Beat a game released in 2018', but besides that? I was thinking challenge 47 could have a higher number of hours. Most of us seemed to beat that one in the first week of January so making it 'Play a game that can't technically be beaten for at least ten hours' would at least be more of an accomplishment. The challenge got me to play and enjoy some games I otherwise wouldn't have, so I'd say it's been a success. Your change to 47 makes sense. Maybe it's because I was playing on a 3DS, but I had a lot more trouble than I expected with the game. I think you're giving EA too much of a benefit of a doubt. Why would they lower the single player rewards by the same percentage as the needed amount to unlock stuff but NOT do the same to the multiplayer? Because you earn less in multiplayer to begin with. They likely lowered the single-player reward so you can't just play the single-player and unlock a bunch of stuff right away. They likely designed the single-player reward to be enough to get you exactly X amount of unlockables, and thus had to change it when they lowered the cost. EDIT: Yeah, that appears to be the reason. Previously, Vader cost 60,000, which means clearing the single-player wasn't enough to unlock him. At his new cost, if they left the single-player at 20,000, you'd be able to afford one of the highest priced heroes right away. So they lowered what you get from the single-player. I'll be getting the game because I got it for nearly half-price through Amazon and my main interest is the single-player. 10 hours to unlock a character is still outrageous, and I know the argument of "at least they did something" isn't good enough but at least they're 'listening'. I found myself not really caring for any of the characters other than Javi, and obviously Clementine.
