Nope

It doesn't really matter because of how XP scales in this game though. You can get them caught up like 10 levels in one battle if they're far enough behind.

The 8th is the least connected to anything, anyway.

It was published well after the book series finished and doesn't really have much to do with the games unless they get referenced in the expansions for 3 (which I haven't played yet)

3 of them are collections of short stories and not really part of the main plot of the books though (well a couple of the short stories are, and quite a number of them (maybe even all?) get referenced in the games)

You basically hit the nail on the head.

If you have some experience with web design I would suggest Wordpress but if not then I'd go with Squarespace, personally.

Wordpress really doesn't take that long to learn but if you're doing it for the first time it can be kind of frustrating. Unless you're doing something really unconventional, Squarespace should fit your needs otherwise.

I've never used Wix.

I mean of all the criticisms of TLJ I and other people have, I don't think any of the new characters are on them (or at least, not very high). Rey has some writing problems, but she's well acted and pretty likable. Finn might have had a terrible B-plot, but his actual character was still great. Poe was good through the whole thing, and even Rose who was somewhat of a weird addition in general ended up being better than I thought she'd be when she was first introduced.

Bad characters was Rogue Ones shtick, not the sequel series so far.

Also while I think TLJ is a bad movie to say its worse than AotC is kind of insane.

That one I had zero trouble with because I actually read the description with eagle eye and knew to avoid AoE, same for the redux (though the second one took like 30-40 minutes for the fight...)

Also supposedly you can Cold Steel style cheese the second one with Joshua's Evil Eye EX if you get it beforehand, because between that and Agate you can perma-delay 4 of them at a time making it possible to AoE those 4 down.

Also one of the fights with Enforcer No. XV (whose name I am intentionally avoiding) was also quite annoying, though I can't remember which one it was.

It was probably the first time you fight her where she leads with her S-Craft and then has those little god damn robots that shoot petrify lasers.

Worst part of Trails the 3rd tbh.

I didn't have nearly as hard of a time in 3rd luckily. I got pretty lucky there. I've heard horror stories.

It doesn't really matter, you'll get bait as you go.

My only fishing advice really is once you get to Grancel (which is a ways away still), search everywhere to get the bamboo rod and make sure to catch a Pearlglass fish with it before you leave Grancel because you'll need it for a side quest later and that quest is an absolute PITA if you don't have the bamboo rod and didn't get the fish in Grancel.

I missed both and had to spend over an hour fishing for one!

I always wish more series did the 'different outfits every week' thing. Its great.

Also related, being able to play dress up in video games is the best thing ever and I'm glad its become basically standard in the past like 10 years (not so glad about it generally being tied to micro transactions though).

The only games that are connected are the Persona games really

But even then they're not like, plot connected, its just references to previous games/character cameos and stuff that makes you go "oooh that's what that character is up to now!" and never ties into anything going on in the game you're playing.

SMT games are, as said, all basically in different worlds in a multiverse and don't really relate at all. There are a few exceptions here and there but even for those they don't really require you to play any other games.

I think the game is like FC in that if a character disappears only for a little you won't get their stuff back, but if it's permanent they'll be returned. But Estelle is the PC and I don't know why she'd be gone for a while at this point anyway.

As a sidenote, the most amusing example of this is there is one time when someone joins your party for like 2 minutes to walk across a highway and then leaves. They leave all of their gear and orbments with you anyway.

I highly recommend taking a bit of a break before jumping into SC. It'll stave off burnout. Personally, the break I took between FC and SC really made going through SC that much more memorable.

I took a like, year break between FC and SC for some reason...

Then I played SC, 3rd, and started Cold Steel (which I am playing currently) in the span of like 2 weeks so YMMV imo

Just loaded my savegame for the first time in at least a week. Remembered I had just completed a story mission and looked at my quest log. Found out I had failed a sidequest. Was unhappy about this, went to the bracer guild, and found out that I had failed 4 more that I never even knew existed.

I promptly quit out of the game and walked away, because jesus, WTF? I did one freaking mission, and it somehow warps me past like 5 sidequests?

Yeah side quests can be kind of tight.

Honestly you don't really need to fret about missing side quests for the most part. Most of them don't do anything except give you mira. You probably missed one actual substantial sidequest, if that.
