Divinity Original Sin 2, I love it because of how many times you can play through it differently, not only given how you can respond to dialogue differently, but with the different origins with their own backstories, side quests, reactions and motivations, as well as with original characters that you can shape how you wish. I like how there are "tags'' that result in different possible dialogues, and how through that, you can change how characters react and think of you. I also enjoy how there's the entire multiplayer aspect, where you can take between 1 and 3 friends, and pretty much take the story how you want, with the ability to roleplay if you'd wish. This is accompanied thorough the gamemaster mode, where it can also be played in a similar manner as tabletop games, with the gamemaster in control of the story. This isn't even mentioning the mod support, and how not only can you do mods that add cheat items or skill points, but mods that add abilities that otherwise would be locked to enemies only, as well as creating original abilities, and even balancing over/underpowered abilities too. Also people can make their own little campaigns which is a nice touch, allowing for way more playing then what would be in the base game for literally no extra cost, which is amazing considering how this is the age of dlcs.

Also you can play as skeletons.

It's been dead since gen 4 arguable 5. 6 and 7's lazy ass environments and gimmicks were a sign of things to come, but worry not!
