I'd say there are three aspects to it.

* Tradition.

* Making sure a large portion of the nation know what to do in case of a war or other emergency. Survival training and first aid are important skills you are taught.

* Opening the eyes of citizens to what a career in the military might be like, hopefully finding some recruits especially for leadership positions.

Haven't seen season 2 yet (is it ever gonna get to Swedish Netflix?), but I'm reading the books and she was a PoV character in book two. I like her.

I got the "whole" spectrum from my family when I told them back in high school.

My brother was really positive and supportive. The only change was that he began asking me about boys instead of girls (I almost tear up thinking about my awesome big bro).

My father had this neutral "use a condom" response.

My mother on the other hand did not take it well at all. She told me it was a phase. She said "good" and left the room when my first boyfriend broke my heart and I was really sad over it. Her handling of it all was poor as fuck. We have a good relationship now though.

The speed and stability plus the camera seem to be the main improvements. And I use my phone for all kinds of stuff including Netflix etc and I take lots of pics so those are important factors for me :)
And I probably will get a new phone 2-3 years down the line yeah.
