Still the best single-player shooter experience and way better than DOOM 4 in every aspect I play Doom from time to time, usually Brutal Doom or Project Brutality mods. When I look at Doom 4 gameplay there's nothing about it that looks interesting to me. The new aesthetic and atmosphere really turns me off. Demons don't look like demons anymore, they're cartoonish and more like run of the mill aliens. Just doesn't strike my fancy. I just finished playing Doom 4 a month or so ago. The game is really fucking great and it really stands out from other shooting games. It ignores a lot of modern conventions like cover-based game play, regenerating health, two-weapon loadouts, and reloading. And I don't know what you mean about the demons. They're basically the original demons with a modern facelift. I guess you could say the Imps are a little too sleek and lithe, but demons like the Baron of Hell, Mancubus, Pinky, Cacodemon, and Revenant are well done, I think. I wouldn't really call them cartoonish, at least not more so than the original Doom demons. This, you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't play 2016 Doom. Game's a fucking fantastic ride. --- The Legend is True!
