I honestly prefer numbers, or a bar, or just something with a concrete limit.

I just like knowing where I stand in comparison to other people or my personal death. Health splatters are too floaty for me and I don't like hidden information, unless that's one of the goals of the game of course.

By the way, that's not Spanish or other well known languages, it's literally languages that exist only in southwest France that they are teaching away because the government is trying to shut it down.

Except the second you make it, every single native American tribe will clamor to be on that list, because they have gone through some shit, and then denouncing their language is kinda a dick move as well.
It's already on a massive decline anyway, the majority of which are only spoken by a select few people.

That being said, I'm not going to pretend that the occasional story of a campaign where the players give up adventuring entirely in favor of becoming entrepreneurial merchant princes by crafting and selling magic items (or renting rooms and offering support services in an inn built directly outside the mouth of a famous local dungeon) isn't occasionally fun and interesting to read, but it's not really playing within the bounds of most existing RPGs.

Oh please, the amount of times I've thought about running a game where everyone are villagers in a stereotypical village that adventurers start in is crazy high.
Just seeing what it's like on the other end of the table would be fun for at least a session or two.

It will continue to accelerate until it hits the ground, yes.
Now, it won't get infinitly fast, because then you get into F=kgG/r^2 problems, but it does accelerate at different rates at the very least.

I don't care and I don't see why anyone would care unless they just want to be angry about something irrelevant.

Studies all over show that even reading a small amount mean that the person in question is more likely to be successful in whatever field they go into, you know, making money.

Also, any time someone mentions crafting in any RPG ever, I just remember that anyone with some points in crafting can literally create infinite sticks in no time at all. Soooo, it's all kind of silly.

I guess you're really new at RTS' because they're pretty easy, either that or the mechanics are too restrictive if you're not use to them.

The difference in skill levels gets crazy in for Starcraft, moreso than any other game I've really ever seen.

Because it's not interesting in any way shape or form? Also failure isn't interesting, because the timescale is so long that success or failure is just a question of how much money you spend, it's just boring as hell.
What are the players trying to do that requires crafting though? Little do-dads that don't do anything should always be free, because they're flavor and fun. Large scale siege weaponry? You're playing some sort of hell of game and I want in. Crafting magic items? Just spend the gold and move on with it.
