Buffy didn't deserve him Well...I wouldn't say THAT I know the viewers sympathised with Spike for the most part. He was mostly good after he got his chip. But you have to look at it from Buffy's perspective. He tried to kill her and her friends countless times. Even when he proclaimed to love her. She had no reason to love or trust him.
