My guess is because she's the only one in the SW cinematic universe to have purple hair and has no other defining characteristics or motives, but feel free to make all the baseless socioanalytical claims you want.

She's more plot device than character, so she doesn't deserve a real name. Same with random Codebreaker dude.

She materialized on the MF and flew over the Crait salt plains and said "I like this" and then next we see her she's behind the rebel base about to lift those rocks.

But what does she like? "This"? It's so vague. She could be talking about anything. This is the deep characterization that I love in these movies. It allows the audience to draw their own conclusions, and makes for a unique adventure every watch.

I thought it was kind of interesting how they tried to make that situation seem more realistically complex, but not with Luke Skywalker. Luke would never contemplate killing his child nephew in his sleep. Especially not to the point of igniting his lightsaber.

Well it wasn't Luke Skywalker. It was Jake Skywalker. Hamill confirmed.

They are not equals. She is in charge for a reason. She doesn't owe anyone an explanation.

actually we should talk about that. What is the reason? That random Resistance lady just names Purple Hair the new leader. We even get a shot of Poe looking hopeful, like he was expecting to be named leader, so he's obviously pretty high up in rank. But who is the lady assigning duties? and if she had that authority why isn't she just leader? How is there not an actual chain of command to follow?

I think the message of the story is trust blindly in someone as she seemingly does nothing while your friends are dying. Honestly that is what it seemed to suggest.

basically. but the real kicker is, that moral isn't even gonna stick with Poe, since he seems to be the de facto leader now. He no longer has to take orders. So it was just a one off lesson for him, that he'll never have to apply.

Yeah, there's really no reason for most of the episodes to go over 45 minutes tbh. That's one of my gripes with Netflix shows in general, is that they aim to make them a full hour for some reason. Just a bit too long for me when I tend to watch an episode during a meal or something.

Black Museum was ok, but too long. I felt like the first two backstories were completely pointless, other than to tell us "this technology exists" even though I would have simply accepted it as existing in the first place, because I'm watching a sci-fi show. Could have just been the last backstory and shortened the whole thing by 40 minutes >_>

?Many of the accounts of what has happened in the Trump White House are in conflict with one another; many, in Trumpian fashion, are boldly untrue. These conflicts, and that looseness with the truth, if not with reality itself, are an elemental thread of the book.?

?Sometimes I have let the players offer their versions, in turn allowing the reader to judge them. In other instances I have, through a consistency in the accounts and through sources I have come to trust, settled on a version of events I believe to be true.?

that's not really what he's saying but ok.

"Trump says things that are untrue so I will too"

Book has 0 credibility

That?s still not what the quote says but you?re getting there. There is no way for him to completely verify what is said in these interviews. He?s telling the readers that they should know that and read with that in mind. Why is this so difficult for you. This the first time you?ve heard of a book or story like this?

Its slander and character attack if he's publishing unverified claims. He's marketing the book as an inside look at the trump admin and just using that disclaimer to cover his ass.

Not if he's up front with everyone that he's simply reporting what was told to him. Which is exactly what the prologue accomplishes.
