Yep. I first became aware of it when my aunt would watch it all the time, and I didn't care for it. Then I started liking it more and more as I watched it, and now I've been a fan for about 20 years.

I got a refurbished Galaxy S6, but quickly returned it when I realized it didn't have an SD card slot. That's a deal breaker for me, so I just went with an S5.

That battery drain is almost what it was like on my phone's battery, so I simply bought a new battery; it works much better than the original.

The Skip Beat dub is shipping out now, so I'll get my copy within a few days. That makes two successful Kickstarters I've backed (this and Shovel Knight) versus one that screwed up (Mighty no. 9).

I also looked at Rightstuf's website and saw that the To Love-ru manga is finally, finally coming to US. Friggin' ten years later.

Forgive me if I missed it but how did you end up getting to work for Comic-Con?

I wasn't actually working for them; I usually volunteer whenever it comes around. At first I only did it to save money on admission, but it started growing on me more and more.

I also want to volunteer for Tokyo in Tulsa, the local anime convention, but it's complicated. My niece goes to that con too, so I need to be available to look after her.

I worked Comic Con over the weekend. It was pretty expensive with the hotel and all the other expenses, so I didn't buy much. But it did reaffirm that I want to do that kind of thing as a career. It felt great seeing all the smiling faces on both kids and adults alike being surrounded by characters and things they love, and knowing I played even a small part in that.

Unfortunately it was pretty hectic during the whole event so I didn't have a chance to ask how I would go about breaking into that scene. And when the show was over the guys in charge left surprisingly quickly, so I couldn't even ask during teardown.

If anyone likes harems done right, you should check out Umi no Misaki (manga). One of the girls does have more of a "main girl" feel, but other than that all of the Girls get an equal amount of time with the MC, they all get a lot of real character development and really care about each other, and the protagonist is very likable and understanding of the situation.

I just found this and the other topic last night. My heart broke reading the story, and I feared the worst when he stopped appearing here.

I am so sorry for everything you've lost, and I can't imagine what you're going through. It's particularly tragic to lose someone you were just planning to build a future with.

It's going to hurt for a long time and it will never truly stop hurting, but I hope you keep in mind that you have many people who care about you and will do whatever they can to help and be there for you. My mother has lost two husbands; my dad died when I was young, and then when she remarried ten years later, the man died eight days after the wedding. She was absolutely devastated for several years and she still isn't completely over it, but with her strength and all of our help she pulled through and is much better now. Please don't be afraid to turn to others for strength.

I'd say it was the other way around; Supergirl started off normal enough and later pulled out the feminist/liberal agenda.

I do like both of the characters, but the Alex/Maggie situation gets way too much screen time. And this last episode they actually mentioned The Wall, despite the fact that their president is supposed to be pretty liberal.

Common sense. Despite how well we got along or how much we had in common, nothing would change the fact that she was fucking married. Even if she did somehow go for me, I couldn't break up a marriage.

And I also came to the realization that she was Manic Pixie Dream Girl, which both made me feel better about liking her and helped confirm that it was a bad idea.
