No but we're heading towards one. Demand will drop and consumer spending will decrease, company earnings will start to look worse and the market will eventually start dropping. Growth will halt and we'll start seeing more broad layoffs outside of just tech.

If you ever were to get audited by the IRS and couldnt prove that it was a valid HSA reimbursable expense, they would make you pay the taxes + any penalties and fees on that distribution.

That's my understanding, anyway. The plans are pretty lax about what you need to submit to get the money out, and place the burden of proof on you to ensure that the expenses are qualified and you have the proper receipts and documentation to back everything up.

Well I guess Ill get fucked if they do that. Its $200 worth of expenses I sure hope they dont waste a ton of resources tracking that down.

They let you expense so many things. I was getting massages and expensing them to my HSA. My company funded $500 per year so I was getting free massages.

Let's think for a second entirely from the IDF's perspective here. By what calculation is killing one Hamas leader but deliberately blowing up dozens of helpless refugees worth it? The loss of one guy is not going to cripple Hamas, and you'll take a huge hit in the minds of all rationally thinking people internationally. You've also probably created several people who now hate you as much as the Hamas guy you blew up.

Either they're not thinking rationally or they're acting with total impunity. Or both.

My theory is they are showing to Hamas and other groups that would use civilians as human shields that they dont care and that its an ineffective strategy in the hopes theyll eventually give up on doing it.

And as can be seen its not a problem for Israel yet because the world powers dont care enough to do anything about it.
