Its a good show, with A LOT of bad episodes, bad characters, cringy dialogue, and was only saved by the fact that when it was good, it wasnt just good, it was fantastic. Michael Rosenbaum is clearly the best iteration of Lex Luthor weve ever seen.That's a good summarization of my thoughts too. Lex Luthor and Papa Kent saved that show. One of Manw's Eagles flying into Mordor would have drawn lots of attention.This is why, at the beginning of Fellowship, Gandalf didn't even touch the ring. He knew he'd be tempted. Him facing the Balrog and dying might have even saved them all, since he was now free from the ring's proximity. Imagine if he had accompanied Frodo all the way to Mordor, and then at the last second decided to use its power to destroy Sauron's army. The Eagles are basically on Gandalf's level, so yeah there's a high likelihood they'd be corrupted. --- @('_')@ |

With only a trillion? I'd spend 80% of it investing in technology and processes that could potentially save our planet. I'd spend most of the other 20% to buy up cherished IP's that corporations are fucking over (e.g. WoT, LotR, Mass Effect), as well as create my own IP that I've been stewing on for a long time. I did see one idea on reddit where Clive could have different weapons and that would give you different playstyles. Like if you equip a staff, he becomes more magic focused. YouTube started out free, it was free for many years. When you have been giving something for free for years, then yeah, people will continue to expect getting it for free.It still is free. How so? It streams lower quality than the other music services. Even Premium subscribers are only getting 256 Kbps, which isn't great.I don't know about any of the technical stuff. It all sounds the same to me (having used both it and Spotify Premium in the past). I have downloaded everything I listen to, so maybe that has something to do with it. It does have a larger library since you can stream any music video off YouTube, especially if you listen to indie musicians who post and built their base primarily on it. --- @('_')@ |

Why do people expect to get everything for free? With cable you both had ads and had to pay monthly. Why would you all think anyone should run YouTube for free? Would you? Google is a business and they're in it for a profit. That's simply how the world works. And they do pay their content creators btw. Not a lot, sure, but still better than even the ad revenue.
