Glover. Fix the controls so that you don't accidentally throw the ball when you just want to dribble it, and make the Fortress of Fear boss something that isn't utterly infuriating, maybe fix the bees so that it isn't random luck whether you might just explode due to their stingers when near them... maybe update some textures, and you've got a perfect game 5/7 would play again.

Starship Titanic

And this, my goddess I loved that game. It blew me away when I was young, being able to talk to characters in the game by actually talking to them (well, writing text), not to mention the humour and general design. I remember trying to imitate the parrot voice when I was younger, and apparently it's now second nature for me to jump into it.

Civilization III. He's the president - it's gotta be that.

Although... Master of Orion would be interesting if we wanted to up the scales.

Yes.

I actually have a cup that advertises Amazon... as "Earth's Biggest Bookstore", with three quotes on it.

"A book is good company." - Henry Ward Beecher, Proverbs from Plymouth Pulpit

"My books are water; those of the great geniuses are wine - everybody drinks water." - Mark Twain

"People say life is the thing, but I prefer reading." - Logan Pearsall Smith, Afterthoughts.

I found some images online of it:

https://www.computerhistory.org/collections/catalog/102618611

I have since lost the top a long time ago, but the cup still is operational, and it has lasted repeated washings pretty well.

That is not a fact. It's an inference.

Now play Glover on N64 please it's a good game sometimes and deserves more love.

I read this topic title as a correct statement indicating that lawnmowers whose power source derives purely from our wishes were, indeed, never invented. To that I say, absolutely true.

yay

Cinder Fall is cute and therefore fire is too, and poll number is 117 so the Halo theme is in my head.

Nothing about this poll makes me feel like a horse. YAY all the way.

All this talk about comparing it to Banjo Kazooie - Nuts 'n Bolts. Whilst I love hearing Banjo make news it makes me sad because ever time BZ - NB or whatever you acronymise it to be comes up, I cry that no one mentions then true inspiration of BOTH of them.

Star Wars: Droid Works. This is 1998 stuff. LucasArts (or Lucas Learning or whatever)

(Spoilers for the basic gameplay concepts of Star Wars: Droid Works, Banjo Kazooie Nutty Bolts, and my sexuality)

You built a droid based on mission requirements, went into the mission, and then found out if your droid sucked so much you couldn't complete the mission.

I haven't played TotK but the parallels watching an educational video on TotK (by the educator videogamedunkey) shows that this new Zelda game is basically Star Wars: Droid Works: Open World: Adorable Short Haired Zelda: Be Still lesbian heart

And Star Wars makes more sense as a comparison too: let's try with Banjo first -- who is Link? Is Link Banjo? No, Banjo is too laid back. Is Link Kazooie? Unfortuantely, no, he keeps those thoughts to himself. Is Link Mumbo Jumbo? Well I have two words -- Eekum Bokum.

Now let's try Star Wars: Is Link Luke! YES! The names are practically the same. When the master sword powers up, what happens? It looks like a BLUE lightsaber! And who has a blue lightsaber? Luke! In what movie? A NEW HOPE! And how do I feel that people will realise and remember this game? Well, it's an older hope but it checks out, I was about to post it.

Is Link Han Solo? YES! I can't think of a woman or Zora named Sidon in The Legend of Zelda series that doesn't want him. Also, when he fights Ganon, he shoots first because that makes sense. The Zero Cycle is even the Millennium Falcon if you squint hard enough. And you can probably build both now in TotK.

So stop comparing TotK to Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. Remember both their true inspirations come from within. They used the force. Probably one more successfully than the other.

It's early in the morning for me and I haven't had my breakfast or my goddessdamned coffee and I'm not coming back. Haluan minun kahvia, kiitos!!! Kiitos paljon!!!
