The modern, fairy tale version of the philosophers stone was cemented there in the lore about the dude the plaque talks about. And there was always rumor of this sect/cult/alchemists/whatever still operating. Anyway, these runes were on a lot of trees and every memorial that week and upon revisiting, the rain washed them away. It's almost finger painted, but it was a heavy tar-ish consistency. Not ink.

Imagine a 1.5 foot doll with two inch hands that have the grip strength of 90+psi applied anywhere and it'll shear off muscle, skin, etc due to the extremely small leveraging points. It's pretty much the first lore problem the movies explained. The community is pretty cold on them (Rashid is like C tier, the other three are D tier atm) but it has a ton of cosmetics if the character designer is your thing.

This season is showing a lot of growing (or maybe midlife) pains. The VA duo is a fair imitation, but they came in to re-record and scrub everything Roiland did up to that point. Meeting the deadline to release, and not delaying, was huge to AS for whatever reason. It must be a strange feeling to be a professional hired to imitate prior acting rather than giving it your own characterization or spin, it's played extremely safely. SP2 is a straight ripoff, though. It has the "Arms Race" dlc which is a pretty barebones, boring mode. A bunch of cosmetics and some vault tokens or w/e they were called.

| C-zom 11/01/23 12:07:03 AM #41 | Worked in grocery stores as a teen and security/loss prevention took my interest, eventually did it for a year and a half. You're not supposed to touch, intervene or stop the thief. There's a chain of command and actions for it.
1: Notice the thief/act of theft. If you're lucky and it's in real time, they basically had side-DVR's that you could turn on to capture it in the moment and specify a time range. Makes it easier to hand over to police. If it isn't in real time you're really only ever going through old footage when electronics or high end appliances have a discrepancy in the nightly inventory count. E.G: This TV is missing, but it was accounted for at 6AM on Monday. Let's start footage there at max speed and wait for the thing to move, etc etc. 2: Hand footage and evidence over to local police. They do their thing. 3: Inform insurance of the loss; what they do or don't reimburse wildly varies. 4: Your job is done. The situation here is all backwards but the store wasn't going to give a shit until the employee threw a bottle. Security guards always work for private firms and are hired for presence and deterrence. Those dudes are supposed to go through training to not intervene or fight thieves but, sadly, making like $18-$22/h and wanting to be a hero happens way more than you'd think. If the bottle is never thrown, the security guard gets pulled from the store and goes back to the firm for discipline and relocation. The second the employee threw that bottle it became a clusterfuck.
