They are not exactly the same, but there are many, many similarities. Just look at the amount of people comparing combo vids with the two games on Youtube.

How you use the combos and the ability timers are different, yes, but the plunges, different abilities that mimic the weapon systems in DMC and other things are similar.

Not to mention its literally made by the same guy.

I played the OG when I was a kid but I wasn't a massive fan so I'm not hopeful I'll like DMC5 but I'll give it a go.

The OG Dmc and Dmc V are almost totally different games. I mean the baseline is still there, but its been improved to such a degree that its so fluid now.

For now. After a while, there will be no new, human generated art to steal from. So AI stealing from itself is just going to all start looking the same.

I saw a video of them breaking down how it works.

They feed the art into more AI generators to make it even better. So basically they've been using AI art to create more AI art and then used more and more systems to redo the different processes, which has made it incredibly good.

Down the line we'll get even better art. At least, that's how I can explain it. It was pretty detailed stuff >_>
