TC has made this and complaining about Democrats a gimmick it seems.

This would have been great as a kid, but honestly, I'd feel kinda embarrassed to have one as an adult. It would be like having a race car bed as a grown man.

About 90%. I still have a few old games I still play on PC, but I still prefer consoles because I like doing stuff on it like browsing here or looking at videos while gaming or having it open in case I need to look up something. Sure, you can always alt tab, but I never cared for doing that. I'm just weird when it comes to certain stuff. That and I don't know anything on how to build a PC nor have the funds at the moment.

I'm another who will say the south generally sucks, but the people can be very helpful down here.

I'm a millennial and I kind of agree. 9 out of 10 sex scenes in movies are just gratuitous. If I want to be titillated, I can watch porn. Lots of movies and shows force romances when they aren't needed as well.

True. And just to put it all out there, I'm a millennial (born in 90). I grew up watching the "old" Batman movies all the time.

As for 89, I love the style of it thanks to Tim Burton. It's comic booky, but also grounded enough in reality. I like the timeless look of it where it's both the 80s and 40s at the same time. Jack Nicholson is still my favorite live action Joker. I miss when The Joker was a goofy killer clown with gadgets and bad jokes instead of just being disfigured, dark, and philosophizing. Even if it's a big rubber suit, I like Batman's look and I like Micheal Keaton's portrayal of a somewhat weird and somewhat reclusive Bruce Wayne. The Prince songs are nice too and the Danny Elfman score is fantastic. The movie is also very quotable with tons of memorable lines.

Batman 89. It's flawed, but still my favorite.

God makes life super hard, stressful, and sad for most people and even made many with chemical imbalances in the brain that can cause various mental illnesses, but punishes them forever for taking their own lives out of despair.

Friendly reminder that the original "Teflon Don" (John Gotti) got the nickname because he was considered untouchable...right up to the point when he was finally convicted and eventually died in prison.

I understand where you're coming from, but Gotti wasn't a prominent Republican politician. That's a very powerful privilege that protects certain people. Thinking about it, Gotti and Trump are similar in some ways. Gotti still might have been a better president though.

One time while doing marching practice my mouthpiece hit one of my front teeth and I still have a mark to this day and that was 20 years ago.

Like, in the grand scheme of things, I don't give a shit about Powel or Ellis if it means Donnie has even a remote possibility of facing the tiniest bit of consequences.* Rudy MAYBE, but I don't care about Scott fucking Hall unless he's walking out with Kevin Nash.

Theyre being offered plea deals because the prosecution knows that they have information which if revealed can either create superseding indictments or prove the current indictments beyond a reasonable doubt. If they didnt possess valuable information, pleas wouldnt be offered. They arent doing this to be nice.

Yeah, I understand that's how plea deals work in general, but Trump will never face any actual consequences anyway so these plea deal are just the justice system being nice like they always are when it comes to Republicans and their henchmen. Regular people have gotten harsher sentences for lesser crimes and would never get any sweet deals like these folks will get. Look at how many lenient sentences the 1/6 terrorists got.

It's hard for me not to be a cynical grump about it, but I still hope I'm wrong about it all.

The only one that might go to jail is Rudy, b/c he's too high up to offer a plea deal (I bet the prosecutors will manage to disappoint us, though) but still below the Teflon Don and potentially accountable.

They're giving away all these hall passes just to hopefully toss Rudy and Trump in jail, both of whom are super fucking old even if they do go, so a long sentence is meaningless.
Meanwhile, all these FELONS being let go are middle age or younger, and will continue to terrorize our country for decades. We're watching the genesis of the next Roger Stone and Oliver North right before our eyes.

These. People need to realize this kind of evil doesn't get punished in this country. I try not to be a dick, but seeing folks getting exited over these trials and Trump going to jail irritates the hell out of me because of their delusions. They need a hard slap in the face by reality.

A world war would rock the boat too much and interferes with money making. Sure, war is a huge money maker too, but a world war would be too costly in the long run and would upset the status quo too much.

If someone can't help but to take the easy way then that's on them. Besides, there's plenty of people who don't. Many play Elden Ring without using Spirit Ashes for instance.

Plus there's plenty of immersion breaking video game-y things. The game doesn't end when you die once. Fast traveling is still a thing.

there's a pretty big roleplay/immersion difference between being able to pause a game and being forced to leave it.

People would still be free not to use it though.

if it didn't harm anything it would be in the game. if you know it's intentional, then you have to know that there's something they're trying to accomplish by not having it. right?

So what does it harm then? You and others tell about workarounds for it so it's ultimately harmless anyway so why not just go all the way and have a button? I don't ever get any good explanations why either besides it always not being there. I get that it's their wishes not to have it for whatever reason and it's really not that big of a deal anyway. I just don't get the pushback over it.

look, it's not the only thing in the series like that. they generally take away your ability to quit out against npc invaders, just like they do against human ones. why do you think that is?

disagree with it and dislike it all you want, but it's not some mistake that it's not in the souls games.

I know it's intentional and I get it when multiplayer invasions are going on, but not for single player mode.
