Because really, making a petty retaliation gives me more to lose, and can possibly exacerbate the issue beyond just me and them. They cut me off. End conclusion is they're legitimately inept. They're not the antagonist to my life. Only thing I'd hope for is to see them bin it soon after on their own volition, them see me just stare at them. If they're in a fire the last thing they'll see in their lives is me staring at them. That's the only bright side I could make of it: we haven't sunk so low in life to be that pathetic. The concept is stupid. Robbing a store, because it's stocked with current merchandise, I kinda get from a....high stakes/profit model thief perspective. Robbing someone's car and their personal stuff? Like are you hoping someone will just appear and put you out of your misery? The Bay Area brewed up their own mess threw the years. The shift towards the tech boom and limited considerations for lower-income residents pushed people into this form of unrest. I thought it happened to me a couple years back, because the supplementary review/application questions took place a work day before I got a crazy raise, and then I was notified that I was no longer for consideration when I got home the day of the raise. He's just speaking about the tactical approach, not that he's actually aligned against WGA/SAG I think that logic can be applicable to other instances. Striking at say, Tesla. The party striking isn't wrong go as far as to say they are the victims/good guys but investing the time and effort into striking, might not be all that productive for themselves. Owners and such, they're not obliged to keep jobs alive...although that would kill their business, which I'm not sure is ever really a positive play for them. It's kinda lame that to explain it, they have to be taken as "excuses". Student loans, illness and disability, parents becoming dependents. On that last point, I think some people don't realize that a lot of society's previous generations have increasingly been households that were barely making it. They don't have 401k's when their bodies can't work anymore. So you go to college with that, get straddled with your own loans and expenses at the same time, you don't graduate with thinking "cool, I'm entering the first day of the rest of my life". Barring otherwise being right-place, right-time, I can see a lot of people just not being available for a relationship. There's a bit of a mentality of not wanting to drag someone else onto a sinking ship, because I'm not gonna lie: I'm not going to be too enticed to start new with a girl who's got an existing situation. It'd make sense for neither side. I mean case in point, that's how it went with one girl I was seeing. At the time I was thinking that was just a way to sugarcoat it, and it could've been so to at least some degree; but give it a few years later, I'm in that kind of situation myself. It's real. I don't have time for anything less than ideal. Not because I necessarily think I deserve the best situation, but I don't have time for that. I've got shit outside of responsibilities that I want to do for myself. And likewise I'd want to be someone who is established in the things they want to do for themselves as well. Being with someone just to be with someone...I've seen that. Wouldn't want to pass judgement, but sometimes (not everyone) there's some hollow identity reads on that. Just going through the motions but not really having much identity or aspirations for themselves. They just do the "couple thing" because they literally don't know what else they want to do with their lives. Don't trip about being 30 something and single. You have your reasons. The virginity thing is honestly a choice. You can go get ass if you really wanted to. Ass is ass.
