I knew I was going to lose after turn 1 when Ego played Jubilee for the opponent who pulled a 6/20 card. I gave it two more turns before retreating.

It's been fun so far and I've been managing to win most my fights despite my opponents having cards I don't. I completely lucked into a win in my last game when I messed up but the web location grabbed the perfect people after turn 6 to hand me a 1 point victory.

I am really bad at remembering to snap when I know I will win though.

Yeah you gotta love those comments after Iowa had a bottom 5 offense last year and has a bottom 2 offense after 4 games this year (using the same offensive scheme as last year)

But sure, it's definitely just the one game that makes people want to see changes.

I just want to reinstate, Penn State ran 97 plays. Iowa had 79 yards.
PSU's second string had more yards.

And Kirk Ferentz's response in the press conference was "I don't see us making any changes on offense."

If we skip any big things next season it won't be Drum island. Little Garden and the giants are more likely than that, and I still think that is unlikely.

Alabasta is the most likely part to see major cuts. Could see it being cut down to just meeting Ace/Smoker, Rainbase, Alubarna. Though I hope we still get Yuba, I could see it just being a cut away as Vivi or a townsperson describes how bad it is.

Reminder that Skypeia has set up/ties into every saga that follows. The people who say to skip it are crazy.

Barret finished ninth this year and has been top ten for like three years straight.

Hes already had successful pushes and theres like three characters that are in better positions than him total recently.

Oh yeah no doubt. I'm not arguing Barret is weak. He is a juggernaut in recent years until the late game. He has a dedicated saver base that can get him deep without an actual Push. And he has gotten more popular thanks to FF7R. But he still is never the most pushed FF7 character and picks up less support in the late game then any of the more popular FF7 people.

He has a high floor and consistency, but a lower ceiling than Aeris/Tifa/Cloud/Yuffie/Red/Sephiroth. So he needs a bad year for FF7 to get last standing and that doesn't seem likely to happen soon.

And I don't think over heard anyone talk about planning a specific Barret push next season. Just people saying he deserves a last 7 standing placement.l or that it's crazy he doesn't have one.

That would be news to me. I don't see a successful Barret push happening unless the next FF7R game is great for him. And that would be a couple years to benefit. He just doesn't pick up supporters enough to get past the more casual fan favorites.

I fully expect Aeris or Tifa to be last standing next yeat unless Yuffie makes a run.
