Nintendo, but only because I'm cheap. I love their games, but they never go on sale! Both Sony/Microsoft have plenty of first party games, but you can easily get them for $20 after a year or so. With the Big N, games like Pikmin 3 are are still $60 after 3+ years (technically 10 years, but 3 on the switch).

I just gave up on the batting cages. Even looking up a cheat sheet on where the balls would go, the timing still screwed with me.

Shogi, however, has been my nightmare mini-game. I want that Enforcer shield, but it requires too many points. Yes, I'm aware that you can unlock it with cash later, but I want to be OP now >_>

And on top of all that attack startups get caught on geometry way too often, God help you if a battle starts near a public park for example.

Yea, there was one street fight I encountered, where the guy was on the other side of a bush, so every. single. turn, my team had to run around it to get to him. Every so often, he'd teleport back to the sidewalk, but my team still preferred to take the long way around

The story is great though, and the side-missions have been well worth doing (The Traveling circus, so good)

Deponia definitely got to be a bit try-hard, but if you want something light from them, try Anna's Quest.

What do the stickers and cards even do?
It's been so long this has become alien to me.

Stickers are pretty much just for chat - you can send them to each other like animated gifs. Or, if you have an item showcase on your profile, you can place it there.

Cards, are for badges. Collect all X number of them from the set (in this case, Summer 2023 sale set), and combine them into a badge, which can be displayed on your profile. Also gives about 100exp(?). Gain enough exp, and level up to unlock extra slots for showcases on your profile (achievement showcases, item showcases, screenshot showcases, etc..).

Most people just sell the cards on the marketplace though (stickers are stuck to your inventory, and can't be sold). Right now, cards are selling for about $.05 each (and will likely drop to $.02 each by the end of the sale)

What you all been playing as of late and what are you potentially after the most during this upcoming sale?

I've actually managed to play through quite a few games recently. My PS+ expired a couple weeks ago, so it gave me the motivation to plow through some before they expired. It helped me to get through Stray, Trials of Mana, and Outer Wilds. Almost made it through Yakuza: Like a Dragon too, but ran out of time during chapter 14 (of 15). Now I'm debating if I want to re-up for another year, or drop that money on Steam games.
