Probably gonna get flamed for this, but IMO therapy is a waste of money for the vast majority of people.

People who can afford therapy can afford to do better more sustainable coping strategies like

Going to the gym
Eating healthier foods instead of junk
Connect with close friends and family
Breathing exercises
Remove people in your life who consistently make you feel bad (If it's a boss find another job)

I do think therapy is good, but I was also a bit suspicious of the "Men will do "x" instead of going to therapy" memes being plastered across the internet immediately preceeding Uber-esque "therapy" apps that sell your information (BetterHelp, etc.) launching.

Never been. Is it more than just talking about your problems? I find if I talk about my problems I just focus on them more.

A good therapist helps you learn positive coping strategies. Some problems are harder to live with than others, and everyone's different, but that's the goal.

Thats right, its a TikTok hack that you probably never saw coming: toilet paper in the fridge.

Followers of the trend claim a roll of toilet paper will absorb smelly odors inside fridges. Its meant to work the same way as most people use an open box of baking soda for fridge smells.

It may sound like some silly new TikTok trick but the idea actually first appeared in 2015. Now, its popping up on social media again.

Put a toilet paper in your fridge in a corner where it fits and then just leave it there, says TikToker SmartFoxLifeHacks in a video. It is important that you replace the roll about every three weeks. For reasons of hygiene, you should also only put a roll in your fridge straight from the packaging and not put it near your toilet!

So you may be wondering: does it work?

Somewhat, but only temporarily. The tried-and-true baking soda method remains the number one solution for most households (not to mention baking soda is a lot cheaper than toilet paper). Los Angeles Times once reported, More refrigerators are likely to have baking soda than working light bulbs.

And because theres no end to the amount of hacks you can find on TikTok, yet another video recommends adding a baking soda-water mixture onto a toilet roll and then placing the roll in your fridge. Sounds potentially messy.

Regardless of how you use baking soda, be aware: after deodorizing a fridge with baking soda, dont use the contents for baking its contaminated.

Other things that work include activated charcoal and vanilla extract. Soak a cotton ball in vanilla and place it in the refrigerator itll smell like a bakery.

Some refrigerators today also have ultraviolet light filters to handle odors.

One more suggestion: crumpled newspaper and crushed charcoal. Youll have to replace the newspaper every day for about a week.

Part of me misses those days of paper applications. I always tried to hand them in to the manager so they could see me and shake hands. Felt I had better success than the anonymous nature of online applications.

That was the advice.

I remember going to drop off an application once and then coming back later that day, just to specifically give it to the manager. Didn't work out, which I still find funny.

Yeah, Hitler was very deliberate and specific at the groups he wanted eradicated--you didn't have to guess at the groups he was after. Like, every Republican has targeted the left and immigrants so that's nothing new. I'm by no means defending Trump, I just don't think he's anywhere near the point that Hitler was at with his eradication policies.

Again, not defending him, but he hasn't called for the eradication of American Muslims, and honestly, Bush Jr.'s rhetoric was much harsher towards Muslims. I'm only saying this because I feel people are to quick to compare people to Hitler when that fucker straight up called for the eradication of ethnic groups in his own country before forcing them into ghettos. We haven't reached that point yet...

Probably. It's sad that if he is, he has to put up a charade like this though. That's the society we live in. Sure a majority of the country is fine with it, but the section of the country he likes to align himself with, is not.

That's the puzzling part. I don't know/care that he's gay or not, but the fact that he (and fellow SC senator Lindsey Graham) would have to hide it to be politically viable with the party they embrace says a lot.

I don't think he actually wants it televised. He knows that his antics would just get shot down in the courtroom and make him look like a loser.

He's saying this because he is sure they'll never do it. They'll never televise it, so he and his lackeys will just rant about how they're not showing the REAL story of what's happening in the courtroom because they're scared to make the truth known. That way he can act like he's the one with nothing to hide, but the "deep state" is covering up the real story.

I think there's something to this. This is a federal trial, and a federal judge is part of the co-equal Judiciary Branch. They're very resistant to a sitting president or Congress telling them what to do. I don't see one easily rolling over for an ex-president.

Yeah, not sure how to feel about this yet. On the one hand, it's history and people should see it.

On the other hand, if he tries to turn it into a circus and rouse up his supporters, it's going to cause problems and put the judge and the Secret Service in an uncomfortable position.

We're already way past "ugly" with this guy.
