You know that stock episode where a TV character dreams that they're dead and then, to no surprise of the audience, they wake up to realize it's all been a dream? I just had that in real life.

I was a ghost and I was haunting a multiple story house alongside a 77-year-old. My mother, who could still see and hear me, stopped by with some Chinese food. She brought extra just in case we were to see any ghost children who might like to have some as well. (She totally would do that if this scenario were real.) Like the Biblical parable of two loaves of bread and two fish feed multitudes of people, the basement was suddenly a banquet hall full of ghosts eating Chinese food. And, yes, two ghost children did show up. The two little girls from A Nightmare on Elm Street.

I'd forgotten how I died and my mother reminded me that the other ghost and I had died from an allergic reaction to a hepatitis vaccine. I got annoyed because I knew my death would lead an antivax family member to push their propaganda even further.

I took a stroll and wondered how I was going to get my book out now that I was dead. I reasoned that I needed to find someone who could see and hear me and convince them to write the book for me. (Can dreams have puns? Because that's totally a ghostwriter pun.)

Eventually, I stopped at a theme park. I got lost looking for a particular ride and wondered if I could just teleport there. I entered a restroom, though I'm not sure I needed to use it, and did what any ghost would do: I banged the stall doors together and made spooky noises. However, the guy walking to the sink to wash his hands could see me. I then had to pass my gesture off as a joke while lyingly talking about a friend of mine who thought he was legitimately invisible while he was high.

I said that in the post you quoted, though I did say might if that's what you're trying to correct me on. Let's not get into an "all cops are Nazis" debate. The topic-derailment is bad enough as it is.

All I'm saying is that, if summoned by Disney, the police would make these assholes leave. A police officer may be bigoted, but they answer at the beck and call of those who have the most money. Disney undoubtedly makes contributions to the local police and so the police have to answer their call regardless of their personal feelings on the matter.

I could very easily see it being a, "Come on, buddy. Let's go," moment from officer to Nazi. But they would make them leave.

I accidentally typed "next month" because we were going from August to September. Anyway, he said the pain should go away after taking antibiotics. If the infection is gone and the pain is independent of that, I'm going to need to get this tooth extracted or crowned well before September 25th.

Keep in mind that I had a filling come out. That "tooth" is mostly a gaping hole as it is. When I eat, I either have to use a tooth pick or swish water around to flush out scraps of food that get stuck in it. (Gross, I know. I'm sorry.) I'm almost in favor of extraction.

I have a root canal and crowning scheduled for the 25th of this month. The dentist wanted to make sure that I was without infection by that point. He said the pain should go down within a day or two and was seemingly surprised when I called on Thursday to say that it hadn't.

I think it has receded a little, but it's gone from maybe a 9/10 to an 8.6/10 to an 8.4/10, etc. But that's kinda splitting hairs when you consider that it's still intense enough to wake me from my sleep. I should realistically go to bed right now. Maybe I'll get a full night's sleep or close to a full night's sleep before the ibuprofen wears off again.

Of course, I'm trying to keep these doses of antibiotics as close to every 8 hours as possible.

I woke up on Thursday, August 24th, with a toothache and stupidly didn't call the dentist until the following Monday. I had concerns about my dental insurance and HSA card until I said fuck it and decided to go regardless. I was put on Amoxicillin. I was still in pain. I was put on Metronidazole. I'm still in pain.

I thought about making this topic two days ago, but figured there was a good chance that I could wake up the next morning without any pain. I didn't want to retroactively come across as worrying over nothing. The pain seems to have gotten a little less, but it's still intense enough to wake me from my sleep.

If I'm still hurting on Tuesday, I'll see about going back to the dentist to get another x-ray if I can. Do I have an infection that is simply that resistant to antibiotics or is the infection gone and the pain related to something else? It kinda feels like a no-win situation. The dentist was wanting to put a crown on my tooth -- this all started after a filling came loose and left a giant hole in my tooth -- but I'm in favor of extraction if the pain doesn't go away soon. I know the pain will be more intense for the next few days after that, but at least then there will be a stopping point to the pain. (Unless it's stemming from something else altogether.)

Anybody would go through a day or two of pain or sickness to get better. But this has been over a week. Even when the pain is held at bay by a maximum dose of ibuprofen, there's still a feeling of pressure and general irritation. It's like if somebody's pressing on your cheek. Even if it doesn't hurt, you still feel that it's there. And I'm still as irritable and quick tempered as if I felt every bit of pain.

I've never had pain go on for this long in spite of efforts to curb it.

The orders that I posted were for the All*Stars versions of the Mario games. If the NES originals count as different games altogether, then I beat 1, 2, and 3 in sequential order and after Super Mario 64.

I didn't get a chance to play NES between 1993 and 2000 when I purchased one from Funco Land.

I know I said this was subjective, but All*Stars is a compilation of four games. Five if you have the Super Mario World + All*Stars version.

This was like Jurassic Park levels of not being in control. The blast radius was two and a half times what they thought it would be and the winds, which they didn't account for, carried nuclear fallout further than they could have anticipated.

I have family who are pro life, I work for a Catholic hospital, and I'm in a red state.

There are also one or two people in my family who used to be pro life before realizing how it was used to try and control women -- or who are pro life to the extent that they see a fetus as a life, but understand the necessity for people to have the right to an abortion. (I actually fall into this camp.)
