i don't realy like labels

Like I don't drink alcohol for a few reasons but I wouldn't call myself sober b/c I feel like when people say that it's letting you know that they're overcoming something and it's a little insensitive to try and coerce them into drinking (even if it's innocuous). I wouldn't care if someone tried doing that to me because I didn't have an addiction or anything

i love the scene with her on the phone with Scott, it makes me laugh every time

i liked the trailer, it might be the first one i see in theaters since endgame

I have the ability to empathize with other people so naturally I am conservative now

do people not rage or trash talk the other team in league of legends as well?

i haven't played it but in other online games i've played (valorant, dead by daylight, overwatch etc) there is a lot of back and forth from opposing teams

nope you just load in to the game and it starts instantly

i feel like if anyone rages in the chat (which in my experience is maybe once every 100 games) they're the weird ones

most of the rage goes towards the developers instead of other players, which i find interesting as well. i feel like the dev team for tft is extremely transparent too so it makes me sad when people get mad at them. they experiment a lot and when something isn't working balance-wise they are obviously aware of it and often fix it pretty quick.

The guy defrauded his insurance company by claiming he was incredibly ill, and that's why insurance companies routinely deny people who actually need help, like John himself, when he was denied access to proper healthcare.

I get the point he was making, sure that guy's actions were seemingly innocuous, but those types of actions are why we literally have people picking and choosing who gets coverage and who doesn't.

Did they add that in later because in the first movie all he says is "you don't look so sick, try this RIDICULOUS trap"

Yeah I agree. Even in his own moral superiority complex most of his cases were pretty weak but I felt like in this one the revenge quest was... not surprising? As in if this were the plot of a completely unrelated movie I wouldn't be shocked by it.

As a fan of the Saw mythology, I don't feel like this was anything more than a stand alone film. There's little connecting this to any of the other films in the series besides 1, and maybe 3, there's no actual progression of the series mythology, though it's seemingly been that way since Saw 7 ended, as Spiral and Jigsaw didn't really move an overall narrative anywhere.

It's a bummer too. As I liked how all the films were basically pieces of a puzzle, but it never felt like John's 'game' really ended, with his half dozen mystery henchmen.

I think the movie did well to expand the characters of John and Amanda more than anything. And I feel like I didn't have to suspend disbelief or question "did they really deserve this...?" like the guy who called in sick to work or the people who were cheated on by the girl?

Those types of things in the other movies dragged the movie below the lore chain of it all. I wonder if we'll see Cecilia again because I feel like, although they got a bit cartoonish at the end, actually felt like a villain, which I'm not sure I can say about any of the other movies.

Do they still do that CSI flashback shit where we find out the janitor rear ended John Kramer's car on the way to his first procedure and he misses it so he kidnaps his whole family and terrorizes him then it turns out the janitor is grateful his family is dead and becomes his new protege

No iirc there's only 1 flashback to fill in one specific gap

People like her songs and she engages with her fans. She drops a lot of hints of her future projects in her music videos/album covers even. She keeps the lore of her songs consistent and makes callbacks to previous works. It makes people who are long time fans happy and they are always thinking about what the next clue is.

For example, a lot of people have speculated the release order of her re-recorded albums. If you see the "S" in Version is different from the "S" in Taylor's. The one in 'version' looks like a snake, the image that is associated with her Reputation album. The fan that noticed this and posted it was probably very happy to realize that the Reputation album is very likely the next to be released, even though she has not announced it yet. Everything Taylor does is deliberate and meant to be seen, which again, fans like

I've never been to a midnight premier, so it's hard to have any nostalgia for the concept. Heck I've never gone to a midnight game release either.

i think the only midnight game release I went to was the latest super smash bros game but I just went inside and picked it up and then left lol

I kinda do. It felt really special to go to one, especially because only certain movies got them. Now it's all on Thursday evening which idk feels less special?

Although I feel like if there were midnight screenings now I wouldn't go, so maybe the nostalgia goggles are just hitting hard today
