I think I'm at the end of the game. Just got introduced to a new type of enemy and have to track down what I assume is the final boss. There's probably a couple of steps from that point to the actual end, but I feel that I'm close.

So far I've enjoyed it a ton, though I didn't care for the direction of the character mainly involved in "The Flame" storyline so far. Feels like there'd be another segment for that but it hasn't opened up yet.

I prefer organic, but that does make less sense for how he uses them.

Perhaps combine both ideas. Maybe he can secrete a chemical that becomes webbing when exposed to air. But he can't shoot it, and it's limited to what he can produce. Which would lead to him creating a device to harvest and store it for him, which can also project it out like he needs it to be.

That way he still runs the risk of running out and needing to find capsules, but also leaves the door open for him producing less efficient webbing over time when needed. Maybe used in hand to hand combat rather than a ranged attack.

If growth can be had from it, rather than just suffering in silence, sure. Many people face struggles that can't be avoided, vans learning to deal and grow from that is good. But in the cases where growth can't happen, or situations where people need help, help them. Give them comfort, and aid.

It's not weakness to be stuck in a situation with no easy way out. It takes strength and courage to live a life of suffering, and I don't think a lot of people realize it respect that enough.

There was a lady at my old job that did that. I was warned before I met her that she'd do that to any guy in the room with her. And sure enough, she did. She tended to be looking fairly intently as she spoke to us,before like she was talking to our crotches.

Especially awkward when it was me and dad there and she'd be going back forth looking at his then mine, then his. lol

Yep...I'm awkward as shit, but real too. Don't put anyone on a pedestal, and realize they can suck ass too. It really makes a difference, and women i've noticed are really good at spotting bullshit, and desperation. Be yourself no matter what you really are.
I don't know how to talk to people in general on a personal level. At work it's fine, there's info I need from them and I can fill in the gaps with small talk, and send them on their way. But if it shifts to a more personal conversation I can't really deal with it. So it's really awkward for both of us. You must have an endearing kind of awkwardness, or have just been fortunate to find people that like you enough to move past that.

You explain to them that you have depression and anxiety and they just roll their eyes invalidating your illness because other people have it harder.
My coworkers are the type that have to always outdo everyone else. If someone does something good, they could do it better. If someone is sick, they have it worse.

So one time I was REALLY struggling, and I don't often open up about my issues but it becoming fairly obvious. So I apologized and explained that I was struggling with my anxiety. And I was immediately interrupted with "Ha! You think you've got anxiety? You ain't got nothing like what I deal with." Then the other spoke up "You two are wrong, I'M THE ONE with anxiety. Neither of you know what real anxiety is.'

Then it proceeded with the two of them arguing over which one had it worse, and they got pissed at each other because neither would admit that the other had it worse.

The thing is, the "anxiety" they were talking about was just stress from life. They were using things like "sometimes I need to spray something that smells nice to relax, that's how bad I have it." Or eat something sweet like a piece of candy. As if that demonstrated anything. I just walked away because I knew I wouldn't be able to express anything.
TopicDescribe your childhood, teens, 20s, 30s and 40s.

Childhood: Poor. We had no money anything, often had to go without food or power. Parents were abusive. Had several critical injuries that almost ended my life. But I also had fun just being a kid, so it wasn't purely bad. But in my later childhood I began to understand what my life was and what was going on, which caused issues to begin sprouting.

Teens: Rough. Those sprouting issues blossomed. I was already shy and reserved anyway, but I developed full blown social anxiety and depression. I was bullied at school along with worsening home situation. I withdrew from any and all social situations that I could. Basically became a shut in.

20's: Bad. On top of having jobs that I hated, dad's abusive behavior went out of control. Everything felt hopeless, and I was afraid to do anything and mom wouldn't leave him. So I was afraid of what he'd do to her without me around. It culminated one night in him trying to murder me. We fought the gun away from him, but he ended up surprising me with a tackle and while I was winded he straddled me and started trying to beat me to death, and eventually strangling me. Cops took his side and kicked me and mom out, but we went and filed a complaint and whoever we spoke too was shocked that I was the one kicked out after the beating I took. Got a restraining order on him and they had to go back and remove him... But after a few days he came back and mom didn't want to cause problems again so things just went back to normal. Me and Jim basically hated each other from that point forward, but I was forced to swallow my feelings to keep him happy.

30's: Mixed bag, some life events occured that both improved my life and made things harder. Dad almost died of an aneurysm(twice), and he finally started treating me like a person. We've grown to understand each other and are on ok terms now, but still didn't get along very well outside of just basic interactions.

I had also opened up about my life and struggles here online, which was a both a blessing and a curse. I got an outpouring of concern and support that I'd never had before. But I grew reliant on that, and opened up more and over time people soured on me. So it really also destroyed my mental health at that point. I tried therapy and medication, but that didn't do much. I was in a few small friend groups from here as well, and something happened and turned everyone against me. So while it was my likely some of the better years of my actual life, I was at my lowest point mentally. I truly felt worthless and like I didn't deserve to be happy.

40's: I've only been 40 for a month, but I'm still struggling to recover from all of the above. Still trying to figure out my life, and realizing I'm about 2 decades behind everyone else. Though, things are finally ok both online and in life... So, hopefully things continue to go ok.

It was an enjoyable episode. First was fun, this one was more serious in tone. Brad was the highlight this time I think. Though, I think seeing a bit more of Sylvie's life would've gone a long way. Seeing her actually have friends and get to enjoy life.

Also, I really hope they don't try to swerve Ouroboros into a surprise villain. He's such a wholesome, cheerful, and enjoyable character. Though, it could work considering how he seemingly built all the TVA tech himself, then was just forgotten about and never even gets visitors. No one even reads his manual, and Casey didn't even know who he was despite having a picture of him. If he felt resentful and wanted control of the TVA he could claim it now that Kang's influence is currently absent.

Mom didn't tell me something semi important. Which almost caused an issue for me if Dad hadn't told me just before I left the house. Then afterwards I told mom that she never let me know about it. And she blamed me for not overhearing when she told someone else.

Then later, my 10 year old cousin was looking for a pencil to do his homework. Mom told him "We'll find you one later." But I thought I knew where one was, so I got up to grab it for them, and she yelled at me "I TOLD YOU I'D GET IT LATER!" So, I was like "Geez, sorry." And she went off on me yelling and screaming about it.

So yeah, I'm pretty pissed that not only did she just not inform me of something I needed to know, but I also I get yelled at for trying help. Then of course she still had to find a pencil which she then made a big deal out of.

Fortunately for me, mom's side of the family tends to age well. With many relatives in her side looking quite a bit younger than they are. Lucky for me, I inherited that trait.

Though, now at 40 I'm starting to look older(duh), in my early to mid 30's people were still occasionally guessing late teens, and early 20's. While I still don't look 40, it surprises people that I'm quite a bit older than they assume.
