We really need an article explaining what exactly changed when net neutrality was killed. No one seemed to notice anything.

Is there a monetary value we can put on this decision and what it actually costs Trump?

Are we talking millions, tens of millions, hundreds of millions? I know it's not billions, since he's not valued that high, but is this a drop in the bucket? I mean he swindled like 30 or 40 million into his pockets from staying at his own resorts continuously.

A criminal case is unlikely, as literally everyone does this.
Any given house that sells for three or four million, is only "worth" a few hundred thousand on property tax rolls. Having to publicly admit this goes on would cause an instant housing crash, and thus we can't have that because reason.

Five or six years back, I interviewed an applicant for a security guard position at my hospital. Former cop, had short stints as a security guard elsewhere, on paper seemed like a perfectly acceptable applicant.

Within fifteen seconds of his butt sitting down in my office, he voluntarily outed himself as an absolutely hardcore Trumper, and kept bringing it up at basically every opportunity for the next few minutes when, believe me, there is nothing remotely political about the position.

Then he starts talking about how bad vaccines are (this was pre-covid) and asking if this place performed abortions as well, with him being visibly heated with each passing moment as he kept talking himself into a crazy corner. He then erupted into shouting when I told him we were probably not going to offer him a position, at which point an actual security guard stepped in to give the guy a glare which settled him down as the good guard had a foot and about a hundred pounds of muscle on him.

As he was escorted out, he faked that he was hit, threatened to sue, and in the same instant took a swing at a second, shorter security guard that had also stepped in to assist. Our two security guards proceeded to take him to the ground and held him there until police arrested him.

He was charged and a restraining order was placed on him for everybody and everything associated with the hospital. Before it could go to trial, he committed a pretty bad assault on a neighbor of his and he is in jail for a couple more years as of last check.

So what? Interviewers really like asking about that stuff. Ask yourself this, those hard tech questions in that interview, you would have used that stuff all the time if you were hired there?

• The OSI model is a framework that defines the basic framework of how networking functions. The TCP/IP model is what is technically used today, but the OSI model is still commonly referenced. I refer to the OSI model over the TCP/IP model myself because it's more specific.

• A subnet mask of 255.255.255.252 is the most commonly used subnet mask in networking. You get two usable IP addresses, and it's most often used for links between two layer 3 devices. I thought the answer was 1 because I learned subnetting improperly at my ISP tech support job. The way I learned it was that with that subnet mask, the ISP uses 1 IP, and the customer gets 1 usable IP. So I thought only one of them was considered usable, which is completely wrong.

According to the news I read, no House Republican wants what the Senate has cooked up. Either this will end up being a nothing burger and they cave like they did the last time something needed to pass, or they shut down the government hard to get concessions and power they can't get any other way because House Republicans don't agree with the ones in the Senate, and the House Republicans have like three factions or something going right now (at least, I've heard there are three competing budget bills floating around).

No idea what will actually happen.

I don't think it's just about the fine. His lenders may very well start calling in his loans due to this ruling. That would be me re damaging than a fine by the state

Wow, that is just brutal. How much is he going loose just off this case? He might not even have the resources to fight his other cases effectively if this hits hard enough

an appeal has the potential of staying the execution of the order pending the result of the appeal.

if he doesn't find anyone or tries to appeal, does the state just appoint people instead? hoping trump can't just delay this shit indefinitely

• He attacked Forbes for saying his net worth was a certain amount because he thought it was too low
• He publicly warned investigators against looking into his finances

Unfortunately, it's harder to stop the calls originating overseas. Asshat operations probably subcontracted explicitly for that purpose.

Do you have a list of these "thousands"? I can think of maybe ten or twenty, and the recent ones have had consequences (being in or out of prison isn't the only measure of justice)

Is this enough to send him to prison? There have been thousands of we got him! moments but he still walks free.
