I'm just saying I would found it more likely than him getting first.

Cloud would also be the only one not in Smash.

It wouldn't have to do a lot for Snake to fall below Cloud.

I think for the next thing could be knocking some more expected trash out of the way. I had Pro Wrestling and Donkey Kong Jr. suggested earlier.

Could also always do more Mario, of which the next would be US SMB2. Also open to something random if one of you feel like that.

Ctes has beaten Ristar

I'm a bit unsure how I would rank this. It has promising aspects and fun parts but I also feel like the controls and gameplay isnt that tight. It ranks in the middle. Where there's like a small handful of games I feel like are pretty close and could swap depending on day. Maybe at some point these will be tiers instead of a clear ranking. We'll, we cracked open the Genesis games.

If you stick a strong Nintendo character in that poll instead of Crono, Link might have started to sweat there.

For a while but I feel like Snake's chances of finising third would be higher than finishing first with Mario or Samus there instead of Crono.

You could also use rewind + save states + warps for runs 2-8. Having done this myself its actually fun running through the stages carelessly/like a maniac

The stages are too similar in design for it to be that fun imo. But I did have a single run where I didn't die which was nice.

It's a solid selection. I personally really like the GC Pokemon games but I'm not sure anything is missing.

Kirby swallowing Sephiroth that easily is pretty hillarious even with the field. The Smash picture was the best, especially because 15 years later you can now actually play as them all.

I wonder if Kirby theatens to move on if Snake wasn't in Smash. Because Brawl was a strong source of Kirby's increased power and Snake might take some of that from him. That and of course whatever bandwagon factor that made Kirby look better against Snake in the semifinals than against Big Boss in round 1.

Alright, it has been done. I'll try to not to consider the idea of having to beat a game 8 times to unlock levels ranking it, I know they fix this in All-Stars too. I beat another Mario game because MZero did but I wanted to knock them out somewhat in order instead.

It's a good game. Mechancis all the same as the game currently ranked on top. It's significantly harder. The limitations of the time means that this drags it down a bit. A lot of the difficulty comes from screen locking yourself, leaps of faith or figuring out what way to navigate through sections (most castles) on time blindly. That's not really fun. As soon as the franchise makes you go back a screen long jumps and tight sections are more fun. For now, we're stuck with this. Other that that, the game works the same as what was the best game ever when it came out so it obviously ranks pretty high.

The rivalry basically ended with the 2005 final, but it was nice to see Crono get one back I guess even though everyone knew SFF did it. Mario was never reacting the final in 4-ways with Link om the same side every time.

Also Crono getting to the final in place of another Nintendo character is almost certainly what allowed Snake > Cloud.

I thought scum was more obvious than usual at times but also they could just all suicide except Death and they would win at that point.

Game was quite unlikely to reach a point where it could be decided by curse too even though it ended up getting close. There were three possible extra kills, but the first poisoned thr second before the secomd one got theirs and then the third was used on the third.

Looking over this was a bigger task than I initially thought, but it was fun all the game. I influenced some stuff while Isquen stuck with his ideas for some other things. I think it's all fine. I have little to say to people attacking a detailed setup. People often ask for role madness and Isquen is the only player that provides this. To every other host it has meant no vanillas or something.

A fair criticism though is that I think the game could have been clearer about what was mechanics and what was not. I think I also helped with this to some degree, at least a lot od stuff got put into the opening post, but I think it could be sharper still. I don't mind flavor being added into sentences, but occasionally it just felt a bit misleading. Some roles are way clearer than others. FD got poisoned and I don't think he should be in doubt about that. Ulti's first role was weird because he was immune to actions that explicitly targeted survivors (not because it hinted at a switch) which wasn't clear at all, though it later would have been.

I also suggested not having the 7-day thing because I personally thought it would be anticlimactic, Isquen stuck with it, and that's fine. Role is fine from setup POV.

When we sat with full setup, town clearly looked stronger. In fact roleblocker/redirector was put into the last scum slot to compensate and the last town slot was one of the weakest roles I forgot which. Even so, town had a lot of power, but I also thought this was that this was compensated by them probably role metaing into themselves. I did suggest giving scum a trait safelist, but Isquen thought it was fine with stating they were repeated.

Ashe's DBD knowledge in scum chat was fun to follow. Other than that scumchat was pretty dead early and got more alive later, opposite of topic.

Brohan's complete lack of playing deflated the game more than anything else. Replacements were already used and IGCD not Brohan had asked for one too. Full respect to ICGD for continuing to play after this. I'm not sure why Brohan wasn't clearer about his interest ever, but it certainly sucked.

I died in world 7 on my first Lost Levels attempt which frustrates me a lot lol.

I haven't played this one nearly as much as other Mario's. The difficulty in part comes with having to know the levels, they're not necessarily harder than the hard kevels in later Mario games, except that the screen can't move backwards, which can easily screw you over if you don't know what's coming. That's easily the biggest hurdle for me.

Ctes has beaten Pokemon Trading Card Game

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/6/6412cb7c.jpg

I managed to collect them all! It was fun. Very fun actually and the first time this project has truly gotten me to play a game I'm very happy I got to experience. I don't know why I never have actually given the thousands of hours I've put into Pokemon basically my whole live but there are spin offs I haven't gotten around to.

It took a little bit to get going for me. Despite owning loads of cards back from the first three generations of Pokemon, I never knew how to play at all. It was a collectable and nothing more. Once you had an idea though the game was a blast. I really enjoyed playing around with it. My favorite lines to use include Nidoran Male, Abra, Dratini, Magikarp, Seel, Diglett and Weedle. I beat the whole league without switching decks using a poison focused deck. It's somewhat simple, but I had a lot of fun. Second one seems to really improve on the formula and add some more story, shame it never got an official English release for sure. Guess it released to late into GBC life time.

Criticism is minimal but goes to how extremely luck based it is. Some matches are decided at first draw and way too many things use coin flips. I miss something like pouring energy into maybe going from 50% to 75% or whatever. It seems like it can be improved easily, maybe it has. I am certain steel has been added as a type from what I can remember from my old cards. Resistances you have to learn my memory. It pisses me off that Gyarados is weak to grass lol, Magikarp is even weak to lightning.

It doesn't beat Super Mario Bros and I didn't consider it either but after thinking about it, I'm placing it second for how addictive it is. High replay value for sure.

New ranking:
Super Mario Bros
Pokemon Trading Card Game
The Legend of Zelda
Baloon Fight
Metroid
Ice Hockey
Gradius
Mario Bros
Donkey Kong
Ice Climber
Soccer

First Metroid is good by most part but there are some aspects that just don't feel polished enough, promise is definitely there. Fortunately I happen to know that they do get better, at least on SNES.

Super Mario Bros
The Legend of Zelda
Baloon Fight
Metroid
Gradius
Mario Bros
Donkey Kong
Ice Hockey
Ice Climber
Soccer
Tennis
Excitebike
Tecmo Bowl
Baseball

I am unsure about what to do next other than still progressing Pokemon TCG. I might just do Lost Levels and then whatever MZero wants to play on Game Boy after that.
