Despite saying this, it just decided to stop refusing to work for me, I managed to get 3 pages probably close to the final draft stage. It's a bit annoying, cause I feel like none of them really match up to the panel of Lily being half asleep which I posted a while ago, but maybe that's fine? At the very least, I shouldn't keep myself bottlenecked with this project forever, while I'm doing other stuff, it's just kinda, omnipresent, watching me over my shoulder. I'll never be truly satisfied with it, so best I get it done, so I can post it, and it can likely be forgotten by everyone except me.

Thanks for everyone continuing to post. I should bump this. I think focusing a lot on one thing for a couple of months (well, a month each) naturally burned me out a bit, I think I just need to focus on stuff I want to do so I don't feel like I'm missing out. Not too many pages left to the chapter though, I think.

Day 30:

Not sure it's right to call it day 30 when we're a week into December, so it goes. The face at the top looks wonky, it's fixable I suppose. It's kinda meant to be looking straight, but it kinda looks like she's turned to the left a bit. Chalk it up to not drawing much, or not, whichever. The bottom left feels wrong too, though I actually put some effort into fixing it a bit. Which is why it's a bit more unsettling to me than the one at the top...

Shat out a dude and a mood. Threw on some sloppy armor and scar from my latest MH World character cuz I've been playing that and cuz bullshitting fantasy armor sounded easier than trying to draw real clothes.

I like your work a lot. I haven't worked on it at all today (well, yesterday). I was doing some sleeping, and scanning. So I'm already behind again. But I think what I'm working on is worth it, so oh well.

Day 26:

Caught up, except it's past midnight now, so no I'm not. But it pretty much counts. So a couple of things.

First, is this page readable? Like, did you get where your eyes were meant to go, and in which order? This page ended up weirder than I expected it to, but I kind of like it. However, I'm not 100% sure that bottom bit makes sense sequentially.

Second, this is not ending on November 30, most likely lol. If I absolutely rushed every point, or cut off part of my intended end, then maybe. I'm not exactly fussed about this. While this is hardly a masterpiece, I think I should get out what I think I should get out, there's no point in doing all this and just halfhearting it at the finish line. Would I even redo pages if I did? Anyway, I don't know for sure how much longer this is going, I'm making up the conversation as it goes, because I didn't like how I originally had it.

Of course, I say I'm not halfhearting it, but I've been leaving out a lot of details, even keeping in mind how simple I'm drawing it in the first place.

I like it. I haven't done much physical drawing in a while, and especially nothing super focused, I really should do so.
