What's wrong with momodora?

Challenge is out of whack, the game goes out of its way -- in the starter area -- to place the enemies in the most challenging positions, I felt punished every time I tried to explore, visually harmless enemies absolutely CHUNK your health, and then they insult you on the difficulty screen by saying that easy difficulty is for "people who have never played a video game before."

If I wanted to go back to Atari-era "we only know how to make games like the quarter munchers in the arcade" titles, there's tons of retro games I could be playing instead. And I don't feel like Momodora had anything over those games from the 80s. I don't normally return games because I respect developers. I returned Momodora so freaking hard. There was pretty much nothing about that game I liked
