Ok, I suppose that is unfortunate when you put it that way. It all could have been avoided though if things had just been handled differently from the start.

Nothing deeply unfortunate about it. The PGA Tour thought they had a monopoly on the game so they treated their players like it was a dictatorship. A successful revolt happened with LIV....so successful that it forced the PGA Tour to surrender.

Like I said in another topic, I'm going to see this on Wednesday as part of an advanced screening. I'll tell you if it's any good.

Though I admittedly am all aboard the Ezra Miller hate train and had no plans to see this movie originally. Just got some free tickets and said "screw it, why not." But I am going into it pretty critically though.

i got free tickets to go to an early screening of the Flash on Wednesday. I wasn't planning on seeing that movie in theater, but never been to a pre-release screening before so I want to check it out.

has there been any serious discussion to a rework of the saving requirements due to the increased popularity of this contest? Something to extend the rounds a bit. I mean, I'm the sure the quick rounds are great from a hosting perspective but it feels like the contest has been shortened by about an hour of saving from where it was 5 or 6 years ago.

haha, even though ffx is my favorite final fantasy game, I just cant get into ffx-2. I tried on two different occasions (once even was immediately after and ffx playthrough) and I couldn't bring myself to finish that game.

Good grief. Poor Noctis. What makes it worse is out of that bottom 3, the other two would have been great elims. Sad.

Concerning the coaches being fired. What's interesting about that is that the fanbases by large seem to be in support of their respective coach's firing, which shows, to some extent, that the coach failed to connect on a positive level with that fanbase. I think you're right that the way coaches are viewed is changing from how they were in the past.

Soma and Control are the two video games that have stuck with me as total mind benders. Soma is more about the self, and what makes you you. While Control is a masterful dive into the paranormal, with stories and scenarios that wow me to this day and rival that of anything I've seen in tv or books. Both have left strong impacts on me after completion that still linger fondly to this day.

My advice for your playthrough is to make sure to read every scrap of paper you find along the way. Search everything. The lore is what makes the game so great.

my favorite AWE was the story of the extra astronaut that returned from the space mission, that was still locked up in the cell.

I loved that game. It's a real mind bender and you're never really meant to feel like you know exactly what's going on. So go into it with wonder and be forgiving to the gameplay. This is definitely more of a story-focused game.
