Roz'etta thinks it's reasonable to still work with Cheshire because it's pretty clear that like any of her loyalty to us, she's only trustworthy to the Society as far as they can throw her.

There's a weird sense of trust that comes from knowing you can't trust someone, but nobody else can trust her either.

Really though, Mockingbird is one of those campaign shadows that I always like getting a tiny glimpse into.

She loudly declared that she had nothing to fear from The Spectre repeatedly, so he showed up and killed her for insulting him.

The Spectre is easily the most frightening force we've seen in the campaign, and his willingness to wipe out people for only vague connections to magic makes him all the more terrifying. Roz'etta's marked by him, and because of that her descent into connections with the world of magic she has no place in grows.

As for this pick...give me The Shade?

Gah, Joker makes so much sense for this spot. Him saying he still remembers Reese Witherspoon was so creepy.

My philosophical question regarding Jenny is this.

...If she was to die on December 31st, 1999, 11:59 PM, can she ever die again now that she's alive past that second?

Roz'etta's interrogation of the Crimson Archer where she took a few moments of pulling out the Waller playbook was so much fun, and part of that was the way she used Brutale. While I'm sure the hope for some was that there would have been more of him in that scene, Roz'etta casually waving the threat of Brutale, in the same way Waller showed the potential for the destruction of Pokolistan, was so much fun for me, especially since she didn't actually need to unleash him, meaning that the time for Roz'etta to allow Brutale his ways may still be yet to come.

I still don't even know why my gut is saying La Dama might not be top 100, I'd have taken her if she was available in the late rounds!

It's probably like Mordru or Jenny and scar did the last hint to throw us off this one.

Also Roz'etta and Saoirse arguing about Ollie would have been even more fun times.

If we hadn't lost Ollie, I have a feeling Roz'etta and him would argue a lot. Roz'etta buys into Waller's reasoning, Ollie doesn't, and just the sheer philosophical battles of words they could have would be a wonder to explore.

...Of course, he's not lost forever, and the time to argue may happen one day.

And for this hint...La Dama?

Alice and Eve are such a great duo, one that I'm glad I helped put together. Roz'etta knew Eve's style would break through to Alice a bit.

Oh, and as I've said before, Eve's story ties into one of the enduring legacies of Roz'etta's story.

If Roz'etta had landed in someone like Dowling's hands like Eve ended up, then she's so, so, so much worse off than she is now.

Surprised to see Freddy so low.

But excited to learn who his next God is.

One team is about to enter the pyramids of Giza in Egypt, so the next god may be determined very soon!

Roz'etta talked to Freddy early in the campaign about the gods, and he was so desperate to get ahead, to be done with his trials as soon as possible that they talked about the possibility of jumping in order, and he even asked her about Martian gods, specifically Lord L'Zoril, the god of dreams.

It wasn't a huge moment for either character, but it was one of the times Roz'etta was able to settle into a role of elder to the younger heroes, and those are special times.

And of course, he's now suffering from Herr Starr, whose most hated enemy is one of Roz'etta's best friends, Jesse Custer, so that's fun..

A-Ha! I should have figured this would be V, a character who really has captured everyone's hearts a little with his manner of speaking and way of pushing for action.

Crazy Shy Lolita Canary is, to me, the Spirit character. Spirit has been enough of a doctor that his variety of contacts within the industry has grown to the point where there isn't one Doctor Spirit character anymore.

But for him socializing outside of medicine? It's Canary who drew out the social side of Spirit, that has extended to someone else who will be appearing later on this list.

Really we just need to get Ragdoll away from tables with very thin glass covers, as much as he enjoys those.

Ragdoll does need more screentime, but even more than that, we need more screentime of the best duo in Z'onn Z'orr, Ragdoll and K'Ray!

And I do like having Roz'etta vaguely involved in a lot of the magic stuff. She's not magical at all, so there's a limit to how far she can do before being completely out of her depth, and it's a fun limit to work with.

I've really loved all my talks with I, Spyder, the first being Roz'etta getting her friend The Shade to let this Ladlow-Dalt, the only member of the the family that didn't have a vendetta against him, live, and the second to build his confidence back up enough to continue following his visions, his next one pointing him to a city floating above Brazil.

Canary definitely gets more focus than Aquazon. Really in a lot of ways they're complete opposites, Canary wants to be around as many people (and pocketbooks) as possible, while Aquazon spends most of her time far, far away.

Aquazon tries so hard to be hard. It'd be cute if she didn't have the ability to back it up if she pulled the trigger.

From an outside perspective Oracle not being drafted by anyone is really surprising. I'm guessing her being so prominent during the first campaign may have been what led her to being overlooked?

I had Oracle in my top 100, I just thought the rest of my picks would be above her.

Roz'etta and Oracle are so awkward together now, but they're trying, dammit.
