I also know how to make a very basic boom boom nsa word (as does anyone with a basic knowledge of chemistry) but again I probably don't have a lot of time

Maybe just go for some armor piercing rounds that can punch through concrete, but going by the movie they couldn't really use bullets at all.

I guess I'll just be thankful that backwards time travel isn't possible. That would violate the laws of physics pretty hard.

Not that I would have enough time to make it, so I'd probably just buy a ton of thermite and set up some trap.

Ok. Does it matter if it was written earlier or later? Anything written by Lucas is the star wars universe as far as I'm concerned.

Also is PO arguing that the empire wasn't racist? That's definitely not true.

Sure it did. The empire didn't employ non-humans. This was established all along anyway, whether it was on screen or not. George didn't come up with this just for the prequels.

Well the one guy does refer to bounty hunters as "scum" but then again there are just as many humans and robots as there are aliens in that scene.
Palpatine only cared about power, but used racism (speciesism) as a means to do that.

https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Speciesism
Although the Galactic Emperor Palpatine was not himself speciesist, he nonetheless encouraged it in the Empire due to viewing it as facilitating his control over the galaxy.[6] It was thanks to speciesism that Palpatine appealed to Wilhuff Tarkin early in his career, given Tarkin's Humanocentrism tendencies.[7]

Not knowing much about star wars lore, it was because the empire was a generic imperialist dictatorship that was just interested in conquering and ethnic cleansing, as they viewed non-human races as inferior and often enslaved them. Sometimes it was in reference to Nazi Germany, sometimes it was in reference to American imperialism.

The rebels were pro-democracy. The Jedi were basically liberals who were complacent and helped push Anakin to the dark side with their rules.

You can sum it all up by looking at Papatine, who at the end of the day had no real ideology or goals beyond more power.

Oh, oh honey, you're still stuck in cryptro bro land, it's ok, you don't need to have decentralized servers for it to be open source.
Just put it on github like everyone else.
Excuse me for the wall of text. I'm very tired and my lid is gone.

I'm an actual IT guy, not a useless tech startup idea guy. This whole crypto thing? It was not our fault. I have never met another programmer that accepts crypto as anything but a bad joke, and yet we get all the blame for the greatest scam in history. This is why I will never forgive the real tech bros that used us as their meat shields. The ones that are genuinely extremely low IQ libertarians, absolutely zero talent past their lizard brain impressively being able to click on a 3D head faster than other people, that got rich off crypto, and hired real IT guys to glue together their disgusting mess in hopes of turning their blind luck into more money.

Open source is good, and decentralization is good. But blockchains are not decentralized, and are only good for ponzi schemes, what they were specifically designed for from day one. Yes, Bitcoin's genius creator, the one who was smart enough to create the perfect ponzi scheme and become the richest man in history on accident.

Anyway, what you do is host the HTML site normally. You decentralize the storage so that everything helps host the media. It will be a browser extension, that will open a QUIC connection to other clients, and stream the videos wherever they need to go. There will have to be a fair bit of redundancy, a lot of redundancy, to ensure files don't go missing. If that's not plausible, I'll just go with a Desktop application. If a video isn't loading, or the site's loading slow, I'll show a prompt to the user that they can help host their own subscriptions by running the desktop client. There will be enough volunteers this way to run the whole thing.

We use that same backend to host different front ends. Reddit, Twitter, Youtube, and Facebook clones. Best part? You are not the customer, you are not the product. You are the host of the site. No ads, no tracking. It's how we solve everything.

We set up subscriptions and donations. 100% of the money goes to the content creator. It's a non-profit.

We do streaming as well. These things are not as hard to set up as you would think. Just make sure you have the bandwidth, that's it.

Mastadon tried this, but the user interface is so abhorrent that it died despite everything going its way, and being put in a position to take off. (Open source developers are heavily brain-damaged when it comes to user interface, and painstakingly patronizing in disregarding anyone without the high intellect to use their awful UIs.)

This is also something d-live promised to do before it became the "conservative free stop woke media platform", and still does, but it literally just runs on a private server without decentralizing anything, because, well, it was a crypto project, and all blockchain ceos are degenerate, worthless trash who deserve to die. It also literally just didn't load the video half the time.

Vsauce's theory on why conspiracy nuts are everywhere is pretty good, it's that we watch a ton of movies and stories, and in movies there's always a greater reason for every detail, and then in real life... there's just not. I don't think that's true tbh. People have been making things up since forever. We just have that kind of imagination.

On why there are people so averse to accepting the right answer... idk, their brain is made of soup. Honestly I think religion and cults break people's reasoning capacity in general.

I'm saying they should have not announced ahead of time that it would be over in 2 days, making it a less disruptive/threatening strike

The point of a strike is that it's supposed to go on until X happens

They could make it a regular thing, like "we'll strike half the days of the week until x happens", but 2 days is a derp move tbh

+20 points if you have a photo of you out of the house, or camping, at a bar, or with friends. Multiple photos in different places. This is evidence that you're not a total shut-in. In your bio put things that you legitimately want out of a relationship. Men are scary and they want re-assurance that you're mentally stable so they don't get murdered. If you're not mentally stable than work on that. Try different dating apps. If you don't get a match in a week, you won't get a match in a year.

After all that, treat women with respect like you would anyone else. Just be positive, just be nice.

Right, sure, but here is the thing about the level of narcissism he has, is that he needs the attention and praise from other people. Sun and I are saying the media shouldn't have fed his need back in 2015, but now that we're here, we should cordon him off from receiving any media or follower attention while justice is at last served. Let him serve his time in obscurity. The Cult of 45 will kick and scream until they either fall apart altogether or find a new figurehead.

During that time, the other 66-70% of us can move tf on.
But if his detractors stopped paying attention, he would just become... more successful? Media outlets would stop writing about him for anything but fluff pieces because we wouldn't read them. This is just basic politics.

If the criticism is bad and inaccurate then it can bolster a politician, like it did with Bernie with all the hit pieces. Remembering how the ancient jewish man was called sexist and anti-semitic every Tuesday. Really made him feel like the threatening outsider he ran on being.

If I ignore him... he goes on unchallenged. A very "go ahead, step on my face and we'll see who the real jerk is" move. The answer was him. He was the real jerk.

No, see, if he was given zero attention back then, it wouldn't even be a political discussion beyond "Hey, remember when that rich asshole tried to run for office and lost?" He wouldn't have even had a cult following as he does now, since that 30-ish percent of Americans wouldn't have a crowning liquid turd to identify with. This isn't ignoring politics and letting things just happen; it's removing a festering growth by starving it.
Trump didn't become president by my complaining. It was his appeal to the dying rust belt that did that.

In the sense that I might favor one brand over another for certain things, sure. That doesn't mean I will blindly follow them.

For example, I have pretty much been exclusively NVidia graphics cards for the last 15 years, but given their current business practices, my next card will likely be an AMD (if I don't get a Steam Deck first).
Unfortunately NVidia has a total hold on the compute graphics market, machine learning, physics, (this may or may not be amd's fault), so I won't ever be buying an amd card despite how much cheaper or more ethical they get.

Plus boycotts just straight up don't work. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if they were pushed by companies to take away from real regulatory solutions.

Yeah and this is a DOJ prosecution, not a for-show senate hearing. This isn't on the same level as the other incidents.

It's a little more than the usual MSNBC "we got em" headline. They have hard evidence of him committing blatant national security crimes, and the entire state wants his head for it. If he was anyone but the president this stuff could just have him disappeared.

Biden and Pence haven't done anything like this. Accidentally possessing confidential intel is one thing, doing that and trying to cover it up, destroy the evidence, and showing it off to guests is another.

Also, this is the guy that lead a violent attack against the US Capitol. You think the state is just going to go "oh well, what are you going to do? He had plausible deniability, mistakes happen"
