Used to be 800+ and now I'm at 30% utilization so it's dropping.

I don't actually care, it will go back up. Until then I live in an apartment with no furniture.

Np, isopropyl alcohol won't hurt anything if it's 90% or higher. It will just evaporate.

the current trend is to make them into just blobs of polygons
Soon they will just be voxels that you can destroy like in teardown, and that will be freaking awesome. Realistic physics is such a huge factor in immersion and we never even realized it.

Oh hi.

It isn't recommended to re-use thermal paste as it can dry out and crack, or create gaps of air. That probably goes double for the stuff that comes pre-applied. If you have some laying around, I'd clean it off with some alcohol and a swab and re-apply, it's pretty cheap. If you don't have any laying around, I'd put it back together, order some off the internet, and when it gets in the mail I'd re-apply it.

It won't hurt your computer if it thermally throttles. It will bring down the clock speed to protect itself if it has to.

On my 7th birthday I just saw the twin towers collapse and people were trying to tell me why it was "not cool"

I was playing Spyro on the PS1 while my dad was trying to get me to play baseball. Also, trying to get me to not play those awesome Barbie and fashion games. I'll never find that plug and play game that had a whole fashion designer sims game, but if I ever make an indie game it will be just like it.

your entire life will be downhill from here.
Fuck, I didn't realize that was as good as it was going to get. At least video games got a lot better. You can barely see the polygons anymore.

Anyway, obligatory "not with that attitude" reply. I've seen people with serious PTSD turn their lives around and be happy.

I am shocked.

Nah, that guy was always a textbook sociopath. But I'm glad his audience is... maybe, going to be exposed to the reality of the "traditional family values" mentality.

That anyone pushing it is pissed they can't treat their wives and children like personal assets and mold them to their liking. And maybe resentful that they aren't mentally capable of feeling love despite having a wife and children.

Also, even Google seems to hate VPNs. If you haven't noticed, using NordVPN with google is a quick way to get your account banned. That's more effective than I thought they would be.

If you use Google's FI's VPN, then you just got suckered hard. Hilariously. Your ISP cannot be your VPN. lol. lmao.

damn bro i hate that my ISP can see all my internet browsing details

i'm gonna let this random other company that's offering a vpn service for 4.99 a month have all my data
They have a vested interest in hiding/deleting that data, so when you follow the $$$ you can tell how it actually works

But you do have to pick a reputable VPN. If you pick a shit one, then it's worse than not using one at all.

People in China use a VPN to get around every government restriction pretty easily, so I would say that they "do shit".

If you use a reputable VPN properly, you
A) will never get flagged by your ISP for your activities (unless you are a literal fucking terrorist), and
B) not have your browsing history exposed to law enforcement

If you're trying to hide from the NSA's database... try disconnecting from the internet, because not even Tor isn't going to help you with that. Maybe y'all shouldn't have voted for it.

If you've got any sort of Torrenting going on, a VPN will save you from any kind of ISP strike, so I don't know what you're talking about man.

For your average person it's kind of slactivism. If you care so much about government spying, the answer to that isn't to buy a product capitalizing on that issue. 100% these VPNs would be in favor of Authoritarian internet policies because that's what keeps them in business.
