I blocked him several years back. Lies or not, his topics were pressing my buttons and weren't healthy for me to read. I hated to do it, but I think it was the right choice.

On my way to work yesterday I passed a rest stop, and there was a big fluffy white dog dead along the side of the interstate. It was right next to the fence, must've been knocked out of the road.

I was so sad for the owners, thinking how horrible it would be for your dog to get loose and killed while you're travelling. Then today it was still there and I stopped feeling sad for the owners and only felt for the animal. I doubt the owners were still there, and nothing had been done for the dog. Just left to rot alongside the road I guess.

I know it has to be rough. I don't know if I could take the mangled corpse of my dog with me either, but at least gather him up. Do something more than just leave him behind where he died.

Most times another guy has made a pass at me, they're really nice and respectful. It's really flattering even though I'm not interested. I feel like the ratio of creepy to pleasant is drastically different for women.

Also this. I've had plenty of guys hit on me, and they were really kind and sincere about it. I felt bad turning them down, but they seemed ok with it.

Well, except one guy. But I don't count that as being hit on, more sexual harassment/assault. >_>

On the FFVIi board, someone asked who Sephiroth's mother was, and marked the topic *spoilers inside* so I assumed anyone reading the topic was prepared to have the answer spoiled. I was wrong and got modded for not marking my specific post as a spoiler.

Two times I got blocked for talk of self harm. Was threatened that a third time would result in a ban, so yeah, I'm keeping to myself more

It's so ingrained at this point that it feels more like a personality trait rather than a circumstance.

Thought you meant irl, I get tongue tied, stumble on words, and stutter a bit sometimes. When I get tripped up I have to stop talking, give myself a second a purposefully state what I was trying to say rather than trying to let it flow naturally.

Same, but a bit older. The loneliness hurts, and at this point I'm not even sure finding someone would fix it.

If I've learned anything from my job at a hotel, it's that people will look for ANY excuse to get a refund. Doesn't matter what that excuse is, they think if they throw a big enough tantrum they get free stuff.

For me, both yes and no. I'm pretty suave on Facebook and online in general, but when it comes to actually meeting up, I find excuses. Several women want to take me right now but I'm terrified to meet them to seal the deal.

What kind of trauma?

Sorry for the late response. I posted that before heading to work and just now got a chance to check back.

My dad is very abusive, physically and mentally. He took everything out on me. I wasn't allowed to go out or do anything because he was ashamed of me and was afraid people would see me.

Some examples. I was like 21, and asked if I could borrow the car to go to watch a movie(which I knew was a longshot, but I wanted to go). Was threatened to be sent to jail for grand theft auto if they even saw me near it.

Another time, I was sent to the post office. it's a 15 minute round trip. On my way home I passed my parents coming out to find me. Mom said she was about to call the police, and dad was pissed. I got cussed out for taking too long... It was 17 minutes, and it was only that long because I had to stop for a train to go through town. >_>

Also, some pretty severe injuries from accidents that almost killed me. All in all, just a really bad, hurtful, and crippling life.

You know, I thought I was a different person offline but I don't know if I am. Sometimes people irl will call me really well spoken, but here people are always confused by what I say. I honestly don't think people are much different from their online self... But idk...

Oh... Maybe I guess. That'd explain a lot if I wasn't. People do tend to like me irl a bit, but only because I'm nice and keep to myself.

This place is my only outlet for my frustrations. Irl I'm MUCH more laid-back and easy going. I just have a crappy life, and nearly 40 years of trauma all bundled up inside and sometimes it's hard to contain it. So it goes here.

As if that's something I need to worry about. v_v

It says Virginia is #24, and I guess it could be. The part I live in has nothing going on, but we went to VA beach last year and there was a lot to do closer to the coastline.

Otherwise it's just lots of mountains for hiking,fishing, and nature stuff. That seems to impress lots of people travelling through, but growing up here it's just more of the same.

Exactly, they'll have standards too, and some of us just don't meet any.

I have a channel, and used to stream occasionally. I'm sure somewhere in the mix is a video I captured of a stream where I was on camera. So, probably.
Then again, I think I deleted most or all of those before uploading. I don't recall off hand.

Though, I did often get freaked out on camera while streaming if anyone started watching. A few times people here stopped by to say hi, and I froze up and shut the stream down. lol

I was 12. A bunch of us kids were outside in the parking lot after Sunday school. Just playing around wasting time. I was off by myself like I usually was, probably tossing stones into the woods or something.

Then the others gathered around giggling. They asked if I wanted to play, and then proceeded to dare me and a girl to kiss. I was prepared to just ignore them and be mocked like always, but she approached and puckered up. The others were still laughing and shouting about it being a dare. So, I kissed her.

I don't really count it, I basically just pressed my lips against hers. That's all it was. My brother got PISSED though.

That's my one and only kiss.
It gets worse though, I thought she liked me after that. We would hang out together, but then she doesn't the summer with her grandparents. When she returned that fall she was pregnant(yes, at 12). Had her 14 year old boyfriend with her, and was savagely mean to me after that.

Confirmed as a grower.

My brother's wife is an awful, vindictive, controlling, and destructive person. She never hid it from anyone. It was obvious from the start.

When they first met he said she was a bitch to him, and called him ugly and stupid. They hated each other but worked at the same company and had to interact with each other. But she saw that he was kind hearted, and helpful to people around him so she got close to him hoping he'd give her money.

You have to understand that he was in the same place as I am when it comes to dating. He was hopeless too, but he was bent out of shape over it far more than I've ever been(which is saying a lot). So when she started giving him attention, he fell for it. She even straight up told him that she didn't want to be with him, but having him in her pocket made her life easier.

They dated for like 2 months announcing they were getting married. This was her 4th wedding I think, possibly her 5th, I don't recall the number but it's up there. I took him to the side and asked him if this is truly what he wanted because she openly admits to not even liking him, and us just using him, and that I was concerned that it was a mistake. It was genuine concern for his happiness and life... He laughed it off saying they both get what they want. She gets him, and he gets to fuck her whenever and wherever he wants. He has an incredibly inflated ego, like my dad. He seriously thought that she considered him a treasure rather than a naive guy to manipulate.

The wedding was basically the only time I've seen her be nice. But it didn't exactly go well either. She was ok with me being his best man, reluctantly allowed my parents to attend, but told him he wasn't allowed to invite anyone else. That it was going to be only her family. The tension was palpable when my uncle showed up. Her son then proceeded to purposefully throw their cake on the ground just before it was to be brought out for everyone.

It's been about 6 years, and they're still together. She refuses to leave because she has it too easy now, not even having to get out of bed or do any chores, because she can make him do it all. He refuses to leave, because he doesn't want to admit that he rushed things and ignored the glaring red flags she was waving. He told he that he's not going to ever have a divorce in his life. Though... I do feel like he's reconsidered that option lately, as he keeps bringing it up and considering what would happen if they did split.
