If there was just one thing I didn't like, it was the really long "dance scene" that I assume was made for the kids so I gritted my teeth through it and thought it couldn't be helped. A bit weird especially with the use of an oh so relevant song from nearly 10 years ago uptown funk, but oh well.

Ok I think I love these sonic movies. Living in an era of good video game movies is crazy, these movies are just so surprisingly made with love of the source material while still being movies, not just a long promotion for the games.

I love how insanely likable James Marsden and his wife are, they're low-key a great movie couple and very endearing, so glad we did away with the unwanted cliche things like the spouse of the character making him choose between her and sonic. Instead we have her actually helping sonic and having a great relationship with him too, not to mention being really cool I like this actress but I've never seen her in anything.

As for sonic and the gang... my God that was perfect. Where do I even begin praising how they got it right with knuckles and tails, love them combining sonic 2 and 3, with robotnik tricking knuckles and tails being sonic's new friend. It was both fanservice and fun to watch!

Finally we have Jim Carrey. This is like the culmination of his entire career, he pretty much almost makes this movie what it is. I love basically seeing him do his liar liar, riddler and even the mask antics in one role, and he is a fantastic villain. I recently heard he wanted to retire and while he deserves his rest, I would be so so sad to see him go because there will never be a more bizarrely perfect casting for these movies.

Lol Because "fat acceptance" for men has been a thing for decades, centuries even, with all the TV shows featuring fat ugly men and unbelievably hot thin wives

There's a joke about how a man being short is actually worse to women than a man being fat.

Also men are judged by the other factors beyond the physical, while women are judged by the physical "what does he do" vs "what does she look like" its just how humans are biologically wired

Let's just say I've been interpreting that scene since I was a teen as something waaaay waaaay different, something more hemorrhoids/poop related

With Fandom knocking it out of the park with recent changes, could we request they bring back quoting 2 people which would really help for flow of jokes

That's... that's all the spitting scene was meant to imply? A spit of disgust? This makes no sense even the in the context of hating trans, didn't they all supposedly kiss her at different points in time weeks before the final shootout scene? Who spits in unison?

I feel like I'm remembering the movie as being way more convoluted than it actually is, but even if I find it on a streaming network I dont know if I wanna watch

Hi could someone explain this movie's plot to me because as a kid I didn't understand it at all. I didn't understand (not really at least) the whole trans thing, I didn't understand the plot twist, what the "laces are in" means, and what the deal with the police captain was. I especially didn't understand that final scene where they all spit.

I think the issue (partly) starts with the fact that most of that is terrible food. I don't mean in terms of taste, I mean in terms of nutritional value. Ideally it'd be donated off if it wasn't expired, but it's unhealthy to begin with.

My first thought was "Why are we even producing this much crap in the first place, can we not use the base materials for something better, or cut down production so the process of making this unwanted crap doesn't damage the environment?"

But America is pretty fucking wasteful in general, and with real food produce not just processed refined stuff. Not to mention the very existence of the concept of "food fight" as a joke talk about privilege when there are starving people in Africa right now

Its the best part, and one of the few negatives to dbz super. They never shout "super saiyan 3!" when they're transforming or "ascended super saiyan!"

And it shows. The anime is clearly missing something, some oomph to make it feel complete

There was maybe only one gag I didn't really like, not sure how I feel about the weird bleep curse words moments which are a tired joke that this movie did more than once which was weird. It's a little thing to nitpick but on rewatches it will always be noticed

This movie is even better than everyone has been saying it is. I was not expecting it to be so good.

My first thought while watching: whats up with the animation why does it look like Spiderman into the spider verse only 10 fps and all choppy. But just like that movie I got used to it within like 15 minutes and appreciated how gorgeous it looked.

Loved everyone, loved all the characters. That other user was right the wolf character was fantastic. The beginning had me thinking this was probably gonna be just like the first movie, an overall meh film but I was on the edge of my seat the moment he arrived and the plot took off. Whoever played him was great.

I could definitely see a lot of influences for this movie and I loved all of them, the outlaw theme with the fairy tale characters was so good. I loved goldilocks. And Jack Horner was a perfect irredeemable evil.

The little dog was great too, they made him just likable enough.

Overall just one of the best movies I've ever seen, can't believe a sequel to a spin-off literally rivals shrek 1 and 2 as best in the series.

Love the soundtrack

Not a sequel to Interstellar lol. This movie is hilarious, its like they took that scene in interstellar with Matt Damon and made an entire movie around it, while making him come across as the good guy this time around compared to what happens in interstellar. And then you add Jessica Chastain as well, and the fact that this movie came out right after interstellar too. Crazy.

Pretty good movie. Apparently it's hard sci-fi? I googled hard sci-fi and the search results included the book version of this.

Here's what really bothers me wind waker. How can young toon link wield the master sword, the whole point of ocarina of time aging up is that a kid can't wield the master sword so they aged him up 7 years, yet here is wind waker link swinging around the master sword like the rules don't apply to him?
