Whats his mental state like? When my grandad was in hospital before he died he slowly became more and more broken mentally. Started with just conspiracy about nurses trying to hurt him and wanting to go home and by the end was just shouting until one day he just stopped like hed had a mental breakdown and that was it. He was there and conscious but no one was home as it were. Awful to see.

He comes and goes. Hes mostly sleeping, but when hes awake hes maybe 50/50 between lucid and hallucinating in some sort. He seems to be uncomfortable most of the time but refuses pain meds. Hes always had a paranoid streak in him. Hes made multiple comments about theyre trying to kill him. Or he wants his phone but then he doesnt because someone will steal it.

Well Ive connected to my siblings for the first time in my life. Well kind of. The younger brother is super helpful and out there. One sister says she appreciates what Im doing for dad. The other one Ive not had one on one or anything, and the elder brother I havent seen in 3 days and he didnt say goodbye. Lol

Theres apparently been a folder in his room that I had seen but thought it was just info about him being here and its his death benefits and other things to fill out. Heh.

My argument is people are less in control of themselves than what you are presenting; your take that you get to be the decider of when an apology should be accepted is just egotistical (or however else you decide what apologies to accept- maybe you have a rule I don'tknow about.) From what I read it was recorded by someone at the show after being heckled and drunk. He probably didn't expect people to see it. No reason to apologize to the public if you didn't expect anyone to know you goofed.

He'd totally agree with you too. He's apologized whenever it's been brought up and in the 6 years you would think people would move on. Not sure how many times someone has to explain themself or say their sorry for people to move on.

He's been apologizing since the incident happened. 6 years later if you lost out on some shows and money for something you thought you moved on from would be upsetting to you too.

In 2015 he denounced the confederate flag saying he believes it represents hate and has been known to donate to charity in New Orleans. Dude's a metal legend and deserves forgiveness if he hasn't repeated his actions since.

So which is it, has he been apologizing for it, or has he moved on? Also, regardless of the apology now, then, or ever, this is still the consequence of what he did. Its almost like he was an adult and maybe shouldnt have made that joke to begin with.

Because, no site actually sells ads, apart from maybe local newspaper sites twenty years ago. Sites just copy/paste a mystery <script> tag and expect it to be a magic money button.

Then some rogue ad gets through somewhere, and fed-up end-users pop on an adblocker that hoses every site. Then, seeing revenues are down, desperate sites pack on even more mystery scripts and even more rogue ads slip in, which drives more users to adblockers. Repeat until every website is bankrupt or heavily paywalled.

Maybe, but he hasn't expressed anything like that. He's acting more like he wants sympathy. He's not always lucid either.

He's off the antibiotics now, and today not much happened. He was asleep for almost the entire time I was there.
