You also can't catch it from eating something, touching something, or getting it through a cut. It has to be through the lungs.

At the start of the pandemic we made a big deal out of washing our hands to stop covid, but since then we've learned more about it. You can get long covid symptoms from vaccines, but that's not a real infection, it's your immune response.
