Basically, my understanding is that a big reason for WWII is that the world punished them for WWI and that paved the way for a strong man, whereas after WWII we focused more on rebuilding.

Maintaining good economic ties with a regime is a bad idea, that was wrong, like you say, because it supports them. Best you can do is wait for them to collapse and let the people know that you are not the enemy they've been taught to believe. The US used shock doctrine, which was largely considered a failure, and led to the rise of a strong man like Putin.

Only if you're counting your BMR (which is a massive part of "calories out" that many people forget about, so that's not actually all that unreasonable if that is what you're doing). 2500 active calories would be the rough equivalent of 12 hours of vigorous weightlifting, and while cooking is a much more physically intensive job than many give it credit for, it's not that intense.

Yeah it's incredibly hard to actually burn off calories as opposed to not eating them in the first place

Idk, I always thought it was kind of dumb we don't have consumer man-sized robots yet. They are just a bunch of servo motors and a computer. Also, you can't really compare this to a boston dynamics robot, since those can rip your arm off if they glitch out.

Elon is a vaporware salesman, but to be fair there's already a functional prototype, which is not the usual Elon vaporware.
